Join us to discover the beauty of rural Bali! on our Private Ubud Cultural Downhill Cycling Tour, all inclusive. and lookout the crater lake of the active volcano Mount Batur. We like to describe it as not just an adventure but a cultural, tradition, nature and experiencing typical Balinese daily life and we'll cycle enjoying the beautiful rural landscape, forest, Rice fields, nature. We travel mainly along small village roads and almost entirely downhill. You’ll enjoy the stunning Balinese rural landscape as it should be enjoyed without the hassle of other tourists. Our aim is to show you a Bali that other tourists only dream of: untouched by tourism. We stop off at several points of interest throughout the route, including a large village and a traditional Balinese home. We stop at lush rice paddies and give you plenty of photo opportunities, especially during our short walk through a rice field during which, if we are lucky, we will see farmers harvesting rice.

Balinese plantation you can see on an exertion to a Balinese plantation to learn about the traditional and present day uses of flora. You’ll sample tropical fruits you may never have seen before, as well as locally produced beverages. Most importantly, we will show you the process of making LUWAK COFFEE – colloquially known as ‘poo coffee’, the most expensive coffee in the world!
we will taking you to kintamani to lookout the crater lake of the active volcano Mount Batur. Our guests often say it’s the most stunning view in Bali!
this is our starting point we are ready to start riding a bike. Before we start, you will choose a bicycle and try to make it comfortable in cycling. After that our guide will provide an explanation about bicycles and several rules that must be obeyed on the tour

We booked this experience based on a recommendation from a friend who told us it was one of their favorite days in Bali, and the tour completely delivered! From start to finish, the Amara Bali Family Team was very well-organized, and every single stop was thoughtful and well-planned. Our guide, Wayan, was fantastic: knowledgeable, patient, and welcoming. Thanks to him, we learned so much about true Balinese culture, spanning everything from schooling and religion to traditional ceremonies and everyday family life. During our bike ride, we were even able to stop by a local temple, a school, and an authentic family home. The highlight of the trip was how truly local it felt. We traveled along quiet, small village roads surrounded by stunning rural landscapes, allowing us to enjoy the scenery exactly as it should be, without the hassle of other tourists. To top it all off, both breakfast and lunch were absolutely delicious! Our taxi picked us up and took us for breakfast at a local warung. This was extremely tasty. Firstly we were driven to a coffee plantation where we were given various samples of coffee and tea including the famous Luwak coffee. We were then taken to Mount Batur where Kadek (our guide) gave information on the area. We then picked the bikes up for the start of our ride. Be aware that this ride is extremely easy. It is all downhill on easy mainly traffic free roads. We stopped at a temple and also a local village house. Both were extremely interesting. We then arrived back at the local warung for a good lunch. All in all we really enjoyed the ride with a good guide. Highly recommend it.

My family and I did a mountain bike tour in ubud with Agus (guide) and Putu (driver). It was the highlight of our Bali vacation. Agus was funny, curious and could converse with us in good English. The information he gave us during the tour was fun and the ride down in mountain bike was great. If you have one thing to do in Bali to see temple, rice fields, coffee plantation and the country, do this. The breakfast and lunch that was served in a family restaurant was also very good.

We are a family of 5. This is our first experience doing a cycling tour and we really enjoyed this experience and learned a lot about Balinese culture. The cycling route is very easy because downhill the guide is very patient and not in a hurry. ended at a restaurant in Ubud treated with Balinese food. Thanks a lot for the great organization.

This is a great tour that lets you see the best part of Bali - the part with no tourists. Even though it was raining for most of this tour, Kadek our guide never lost his positivity, kept our safety his top priority and was supported by a team who were always on hand to assist with traffic. Although the ride is long at 1 1/2-2hours, it is almost entirely down hill and takes you through some of the most picturesque settings that make you feel like you’re the first to see it. It’s the 2nd time I’ve done a tour like this and would happily do it again.

This easy downhill riding tour with our guide Ikarak and team was amazing! The tour was so well planned and organised, even the rain was not an issue! Lovely people, interesting and informative guide and lovely food and coffe to top it up! The experience of riding down the backstreets of Ubud and surrounding countryside was like a dream that one doesn’t want to wake up from. Our kids found this also easy (10 & 13) - the roads are downhill so that it’s not really a workout, more like drifting while sitting down. Very grateful, highly recommend it.
