Riza was a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable, personable, and fun. We toured Ephesus and the temple of Artemis. He took us to a government-sponsored carpet weaving training co-op. It was fascinating and very impressive how they make the rugs by hand. We were shown many samples. We did not appreciate the hard sell. We were not interested in buying rugs, although they are very beautiful and we appreciate the craftsmanship. Our traditional lunch was very good. Riza did not join us but shared with us everything we were eating. We had some additional time to do something else that interested us - we chose to see some leather goods. We both bought beautiful jackets at a fair price. It was a great day.
We just finished our tour to Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! As a late family of three 😂, we somehow managed to get on the wrong bus! Luckily, when Ogun realized what had happened, he immediately called the company, and they kindly allowed us to join the tour. We were so grateful for how smoothly everything was handled. The tour was around 3 hours, which with a toddler can definitely be challenging, but we managed to see everything, and we were very well taken care of throughout. The explanations were clear and interesting, the atmosphere was fun, and the tour never felt too long. We especially appreciated the attention we received, even while taking care of our little one and we have to give extra points to Ogun for also taking care of three extra lost people! 😂😂 Our original booking was for the small-group tour, but because of the bus mix-up, we ended up joining the larger all-inclusive group. Both options include the same main inclusions, but the original booking was specifically for a smaller group, while the one we ended up joining was a larger group. Overall, everything was smooth, well organized and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this tour and the company! One piece of advice: bring an umbrella if you can! The sun can be very strong, especially when visiting Ephesus. ☀️ Thank you to Ogun and the team for taking such good care of us! ❤️
