The crew is safety conscience and very helpful with everyone boarding the catamaran. They meet you in the parking lot and walk you over to the pier in Lahaina. The open bar is truly an open bar and they serve everything from champagne to rum and coke, to Bloody Mary's and mai tai's. The pupus are delicious and plenty of food. Chocolate chips cookies were for dessert. The cruise was spectacular! The sails were hoisted and it was so pleasant to watch the sun set beneath the horizon. Don't miss your chance to sail with this crew. You won't regret it. I've been on many catamaran cruises and this is one of the best.
My husband and I and another couple just did the sunset sail, crewed by Captain Chase, Dustin, Jess and AJ. It was the perfect excursion and I cannot recommend this highly enough. Booking was easy, and they provided lots of communication prior to the excursion. We spent the cruise on the cargo nets upfront and wanted for nothing, as Dustin, Jess and AJ constantly checked on us, refilling our drinks, taking our appetizer plates, bringing around cookies near the end, and making sure we were comfortable. The service was incredible. The appetizers were yummy, and consisted of chicken skewers and mozzarella, tomato, and basil skewers, and fresh fruit. I think the price we paid was super reasonable for a three hour sail. We will be repeat passengers every time we come to Maui.
The four-member crew was friendly and helpful. The boat is clean and roomy. The crew used the boat's engines on the way out and on the way back, while using the sails when we were furthest out into the ocean. Be aware: It gets very windy on the open ocean. The crew also cautioned us to be respectful of the Lahaina community, which is still recovering from the wildfires; it is only recently that they have been able to sail out of Lahaina again.
We had the best time tonight on our sunset cruise with Captain Chase and his crew members Henry, Dennis and Bryce ( forgive me if I got their names wrong)! They made our cruise personable and the crew went all out to make sure we had everything we needed and take pictures of all of us. I wasn’t sure how the water would be 2 days after Tropical Storm Lala, but we had pretty smooth sailing and a beautiful tour of the west Maui coast line and sunset! The drinks were flowing and the appetizers were great. I would definitely recommend this tour, and do it again on our future trips to Maui! Mahalo Captain Chase and crew!
Jess, Dustin and Chase made this a great experience. We sat in the front cargo net the entire time and they came and checked in on us often. Great cruise with beautiful views! I get motion sick very easily, but did great on this sunset cruise. Jess even came around and took photos of people for them with the sunset. Thanks for a great time!
Amazing, low-key sail at sunset. Great music, good food and a fantastic crew. Captain Brandon, Nick and his brother were wonderful! This was one of my favorite things we did while in Maui!

What an amazing experience. With the staff of James, Henry and Leilani our sunset cruise was perfect. Drinks were flowing(and were delicious) food was perfect for an evening cruise and we wanted for nothing. A special shout out to Henry and Leilani who continuously went out of their way to make each of us feel special and well cared for. Looking forward to our next sunset booking with Sail Maui. Top notch watercraft. Top notch staff and top notch experience.
