Our visit to Alexandria turned out to be a wonderful surprise, and we were so happy to take this day trip from Cairo with Safy on the last day of our journey in Egypt. After visiting the Greco-Roman monuments, the beautiful Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, and the Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay, we stopped for a short break on a beach near a small fishing village. Since we didn’t have much time, we couldn’t dine at a local restaurant — but Mohammed, our driver, knew an excellent place for fresh seafood take-away. While waiting for our order, the Corniche reminded us of an Italian seaside promenade, we suddenly weren’t sure if we were really leaving Egypt, only that we’d be back one day. We truly thank Safy, our wonderful guide, and Mohammed for their care, patience, and for always adapting to our needs.
It was a very wonderful trip I will not forget my whole life when I was with the impeccable guide who had a very pleasant and credible spirit, who took us to the Alexandria Bookstore and some great archaeological sites like the Kite Bay Castle and the Alexandria Monastery and ended the tour with a tour of the iconic Alexandria beaches.
My wife and I visited Egypt for the first time. After our first full day tour with Safie we decided to hire her for additional tours during our stay in Cairo. She is knowledgeable, honest, humble but firm when it came to look after her clients. She would bring food for the dogs and cats that we found in the places we visited without jeopardizing the value historic and cultural information of the place. We enjoyed out trip very much. She definitely fulfilled and exceeded our expectations.
This was my 3rd tour with Safy as a guide. Having her was like going on a friend’s day trip. It was super fan and easygoing. After touring we ate some kebab and even had free time to enjoy the beach and pet some cats. I really recommend her for any tour, specially if you are a girl solo travelling like me. You will get a friend forever!
I cannot recommend Safy highly enough! We had the privilege of spending four days with her, and she curated an absolutely breathtaking itinerary that exceeded every expectation. Safy’s passion for Egypt—its history, culture, and roots—shines through in everything she shares. A remarkable highlight is her ability to read hieroglyphics, which brought ancient sites to life as she translated inscriptions and explained their meaning in such an engaging way. What touched me most was her kindness and compassion. Each day, she carried food for the stray dogs and cats we encountered, showing the same care for Egypt’s animals as she does for its people and history. By the end of our four days together, I truly felt as though I had gained a dear friend in Cairo. We are already dreaming up our next adventure with her when I return to Egypt. Safy is simply one of a kind, and any traveler would be lucky to explore Egypt with her.
This was our second trip with Safy. We wanted to see Alexandria before we left, and was so impressed with Safy's previous tour we decided to go with her. We were not disappointed. Mohammed picked us up from the hotel in the morning, got us drinks and made us comfortable. My mother has hip issues, so she walks slow. They were patient, understanding, and Safy did her best to make sure she saw as much as possible. If you're visiting Cairo, I'd recommend booking with Safy. You'll have a much better understanding of the history by the end of the tour. Watching her help the stray cats and dogs was awesome too. Thank you both for the memories.
Amazing trip to Alexandria. I got to know the Greek and Islamic history of Egypt by Safy. She is a licensed egyptologist and also very cultivated, intellectual and socially responsible. She provided me with important information not only about the history of Alexandria but also fun facts about the city. I like her passion for her work and moreover when she explains the archeological sites she doesn't do it in a mechanical way as most guides do. One can tell that she really enjoys her work. She is also a wonderful person so like Mohamed (her driver) They made me feel like home during the trip. We also went to the impressive new library of Alexandria and at the end we had dinner at a very tasty authentic local Egyptian seafood restaurant. It was delicious. This trip was one of the best trips I did in Egypt. Thank you Safy and Mohamed. You both are the best 💛
This is my second time working with Safy as a guide, and I can honestly say she feels like family now. Safy is an outstanding tour guide who truly goes above and beyond to make your experience unforgettable. Not only does she handle all the transportation with ease, but she is incredibly knowledgeable about the history and wonders of ancient Egypt, making every moment of the tour fascinating. One of the things I love most about Safy is her kind heart. She's an animal lover who makes sure to feed and care for animals wherever she goes – a small but beautiful touch that shows her compassion. I can't wait to return to Egypt, and when I do, I hope to work with Safy again. She made our trip extra special, and I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Egypt!
Extremely enjoyed..Amazing experience ! Safy was not just a guide, she was like a family member, funny, caring, besides being a very honest and professional guide. Certainly gonna come again and repeat this fantastic experience !
