We had an absolute blast dog sledding! Our guide, Ivan, was incredibly helpful and the entire arrangement was seamless from start to finish. The sledding itself was so much fun, but the highlight was definitely meeting the dogs. The dogs are so cute and friendly! I really appreciated the staff pointing out which dogs were a little shy, so we knew to focus our attention on the ones who were more comfortable being petted. Highly recommend!
Make sure to include this in your visit to the North. Dress warmly. Make sure the sled is padded. Best to ride with a partner.

We booked this experience on our first full day in Yellowknife and it didn't disappoint. Going through the forest and onto the lake snug in a dog sled behind these hard working dogs is not to be missed. We learned a lot about the dogs themselves and how the sled and the dogs are controlled. Stopped for pictures along the way and spent time with the dogs afterward. Warm drinks in the cabin but dress warmly for outside. Friendly and accommodating tour operators. A great start to our vacation.

Mushing with huskies at 20 below zero. What a fabulous afternoon this was. The dogs were super energetic and clearly loved to run. Everyone in our sled got a chance to drive the sled too. Lots of snuggles with the dogs after too. Only regret…wished the experience would have been longer…at least a few hours. Maybe next time.
Definite, recommend!! You will have a blast!! It’s so nice to go a little bit through a forest trail as well as around an open area where you get to try being a Musher!! It’s not as easy as it looks… lol There is seamless pick up from your hotel right to the kennels, they also have a cabin where you can keep warm while you wait for your turn.

Excellent experience! Everyone was very friendly, helpful and willing to answer questions and give advice. The dogs are all well cared for and seem to really enjoy getting out on the trail. We had a wonderful time! Highly reccomend.
