Itinerary

120 min

We pass off the enchanting Black Sands Bay, famous for its long black sand beach, behind which stands in all its majesty, the “Great Crater of the Trench”. Continuing the navigation, we find ourselves in an amphitheater of rare beauty, where we find the Grotto of the horse, famous for its play of light and the "pool of Venus" where it was said that the beautiful goddess, came to bathe. Our journey takes us to Mulberry, the southernmost part of the island, an almost uninhabited village, where we can see the lighthouse and the fine black sand beaches that characterize this part of the island. Finally, we skirt the steep coasts to reach a small inlet where, on a rock, the statue of a beautiful mermaid has been laid to protect those who sail in these waters. Finally, we will dock at the port in the morning, greeted by the acrid smell of sulfur that pungently reaches our nostrils.

60 min

Departure in the early afternoon towards Panarea. The first bay we will meet is Calajunco, renowned for its crystal clear waters and above which is the promontory of Capo Milazzese where we still find remains of a prehistoric Bronze Age village. After Calajunco we find the beautiful Zimmari cove, where the longest sandy beach on the island is located. After the beach, the numerous islets that surround it appear before us: Dattilo, Lisca Bianca, Lisca Nera, Bottaro, and the Panarelli, a small archipelago to be discovered. Once at the port you will have time to explore this jewel... from the port of St. Peter depart several walks inside the sun, which will allow you to discover picturesque corners and enchanting views that characterize this island, its exclusive shops, restaurants and bars, and its small towns.

180 min

We will then leave for Stromboli, flanking the islets Basiluzzo and Spinazzola, which are located halfway between the two islands. And here we are in front of “IDDU” the most active volcano in the world. In the afternoon, disembark at the port of Scari, where there are many possibilities: a swim in cobalt waters,, a walk in the town or a stop at the house where Ingrid Bergman and rossellini lived during the filming of the movie "Stromboli". In the early evening we will leave, to go and see the Strombolicchio, an islet shaped like a medieval castle, which emerges 43 meters high, with a lighthouse on top. To end the day under the Sciara del Fuoco, a steep slope crossed by lava streams, admiring the scenic eruptions, of this volcano in perpetual activity. We slowly leave the sciara and return to Lipari at the end of our journey around 22.00.

Magnificent excursion BUT FLEE this provider who is only interested in profitability

Excursion very good but FLEE this organizer. So obsessed with the timing that he left 5 minutes before each stop - results 2 passengers were forgotten in Vulcano and he had to turn back. To optimize the boat, after the morning excursion in Vulcano he returned to Lipari to pick up more people (which is obviously not planned in the program!). He explained quickly in Italian (we had it translated by Italian travelers) that he was leaving to fill the boat and that if it didn't suit us we could change boats and take a smaller one, but where and how... mystery. Since no one was getting off (and especially not the Italians) we stayed. The afternoon swim was cut short because of the delay due to the U-turn and the return to Lipari! This pathetic organization continued with our "stop" at Stromboli. We and the other boat from this company were the furthest away of all the many boats present. The boat kept moving forward as much as possible to get back quickly, cutting the show short! It didn't even wait for it to get dark. We were the first to leave!!! The captain was in a hurry because afterward he was going to Vulcano to drop off other passengers, because to optimize, they combined 3 excursions into 1. (Vulcano, 3 islands, and 2 islands). This excursion is worth doing, but with a company that will take the well-being of its passengers into account before timing and profitability! A disgrace!! We took this excursion on August 2.
