8-hour Rio Overview Private Tour optional Airport, Port Pickups

We did the 5 day tour of Rio with Gregtur in August 2026. Camila was our guide. Her knowledge of Rio (the city, attractions, traffic, culture and food scene) is unmatched. We were constantly skipping lines and getting first class service at the major attractions due to her relationships with the gatekeepers of the attractions. She is very funny and had us laughing out loud many times per day. When she could see bad weather was going to impact our views of the city, she developed high quality options for us to choose for better ways to spend the rainy days. She was very responsive to our interests. If we showed interest in a place, she let us stay longer. If we were less interested in a place, she would suggest we move on earlier than planned. Most guides just follow a script about where we go for how long regardless if you are engaged in that part of the program. She directed us to outstanding restaurants both during the tours and in our free time afterwards. We were also impressed with our driver Francisco. He was always there early, kept the van stocked with cold water, and could drive and park and maneuver the large van like it was a small car. He was friendly and willing to go along with whatever plan changes we had due to the choice we had from the rainy days. The only things that were odd to us were the fact we had a new guide only for the dinner/show night. We didn’t understand why this wasn’t Camila accompanying us since she was with us all the rest of the five days. We also didn’t understand why we had a different driver for the last day and the ride to the airport.

We simply would not have seen so much of Rio in one day if we had attempted to do this on our own. This company is top class. Friendly, professional, prompt communication and a guide that was absolutely fantastic. Henry was terrific and wound us around the busy Rio streets with ease. The weather in late May wasn't that great but honestly it didn't detract from an amazing day out. Would highly recommend (and fast pass for the train to Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf worked a treat, getting us through quickly but most importantly with best seats/views). We worked with this tour operator to get the best time slot to fit in with our day. The tour operator will provide links to where to buy and fir what time.

We had a lovely time with Camila and Marcos. Camila is full of information about rio and its history and delivers it all with a comedic flare. We say a wide variety of sites and everyone enjoyed themselves.

My wife and I spent a fantastic day touring Rio's most interesting locations with our guide Pedro. Pedro was extremely knowledgeable about Rio, and shared insights and made for a very fun day. My wife is scheduled for knee surgery, and we wanted a private guide so that we wouldn't hold up others getting on and off a bus, as well as we would have missed seeing some things because she wouldn't be able to keep up with a group pace. Pedro was so patient and caring, and we got to see and do everything we wanted. I can't begin to thank Pedro enough for the experience he provided for my wife and I. And also a very special thanks to Gregtur. We were trying to put together private tours to be able to enjoy Brazil knowing we could not be very mobile this trip. Gregtur representatives were friendly, helpful and responsive at all hours of the day and night - just amazing! We could not have had the vacation we did without them. Thank you!

Camilla was an excellant guide. well informed on Brazil/Rio history and culture. AND was a lot of fun to spend the day with.!! as we only had one day in Rio, having skip the line tickets to Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer was money well spent. Camilla seemed to know everyone along the tour and was able to weave us in and out and past the long lines. want to come back to take her food tour

Camila is an excellent guide. With her knowledge of the city and her boundless joy, she creates a unique and wonderful atmosphere where the hours fly by. We explore amazing places like Sugarloaf Mountain and the Rio Library, where time seems to stand still and you wish you could stay forever.
