8-Days Wonders of Turkey: Istanbul, Ephesus, Pamukkale and Cappadocia

I've travelled to different parts of the world, but I have never seen such amazing places and above all friendly and nice people. If you are a religious history lover, then look no further. This tour provides you with such deep insights into the roots of the main historical religion developments and historical ruins in the region. The climax was undoubtedly the hot air balloon experience in Cappadocia. The touristic place of Kusadasi offered a wonderful experience to chill out! And what about Pamukalle, a unique scenery moulded over millions of years from mother nature. Complementing our family experience was the appreciation of the making of fine ceramic artefacts through the visits at various Turkish artisan outlets. Ozgur from the City of Sultans Tour was very helpful before and during the visit. All in all, a highly recommendable tour. Indeed a very good value for money.

This trip was an amazing experience, well organized and very detailed to please the customers and see as much as possible. Ahmet is an amazing guide, he has a lot of history knowledge and he makes you have an amazing experience during your tour. We travel all over Turkey with him, and not only he makes sure you have the best experience but at the same time he goes above and beyond to provide the best accommodation for a person who has limited mobility, being sure always a wheelchair was available for me to enjoy the trip. He is an amazing guide and an incredible person. Ahmet es un guia increible, sabe la historia de Turquia y esta seguro de que tengas un viaje maravilloso en su visita guiada. Viajamos por toda Turquia con el, y no solo se preocupa de que tengas la mejor de las experiencias, pero tambien estuvo seguro de que una persona con mobilidad reducida tuviera siempre una silla de ruedas para que pudiera disfrutar del viaje. Es un excelente guia y tambien una excelente persona.

I really enjoyed the trip…. Ozgur did a wonderful job seamlessly coordinating the various transfers, day trips remotely . He also did an excellent job screening and managing quality of vendor services. The hotels are all in good locations with reasonable services, tour guides are all knowledgeable and patient, drivers are professional and maintain their vehicle in good condition. Although I had a little glitch at the end…. I am staying in Istanbul for a couple of extra days and thought they will be dropping me off to the hotel, I am glad I asked and got clarification the tour ends when we are back in Istanbul ( not where you will be staying). It was just a misunderstanding on my part, I am mentioning this so it’s clear for future travelers. Overall, I highly would recommend this trip.

We are a family of 4 from Canada…traveling with our 17 and 21 year old. Love this tour company. Communication throughout the entire process was a 12 out of 10. Accommodation was exactly what we love - unique/boutique… all in the best locations and clean. The restaurant in Capadoccia where we ate lunch, Areni, was excellent and our favorite and we returned for a dinner another day. The drivers were always on time. The guides were excellent and interesting. This entire trip exceeded our expectations in every way. We will leave Turkey with beautiful memories and are grateful to Ozgur and his team for making this trip a special one for our family.

This was a packed trip. I highly recommend adding the optional balloon ride to Cappadocia trip. Ozgur was very helpful with overall planning and always available. We stayed in Kusadasi for Ephesus/Pamukkale leg of the trip. I wish we had more time on our own in Kusadasi to take the half day cruise and take a later flight from Izmir/Kusadasi to Cappadocia. We added an extra day in Istanbul at the end of our trip for sightseeing and it helped a lot with overall logistics. We had some issues with the driver mixing up airports in Istanbul but luckily we were able to catch our flight. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend this tour package.

City of sultans I would like to give 6stars! And more! I cannot give enough praise for Ozgur and The City of Sultans for making our trip so worry-free and enjoyable. We just got back home last night from Turkey and have already have recommended them to 2 friends, even before writing this review. We only had 4 days and this company made it work for us. Their all-inclusive package is efficient with time and budget. We were very well taken care of. Ozgur goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is amazing. And very responsive on WhatsApp if you’re in another country. They took care of everything, including: - Pick up from and to airports and hotels; amazing and knowledge tour guides (Gulbahar and Deniz); arranging balloon ride in Capadocia (balloon ride not included in package but totally worth paying the extra); - Flight to Izmir and hotel stay, transportation and tour guide (Barbaros) for Ephesus. - Day trip to Pamukkale with transportation and tour guide. - flight back to Istanbul. It was such a hassle free tour and we made the most of our time at each of these places and could bring back happy memories because we just showed up to enjoy ourselves while the City of Sultans did all the work. We could not have done it so efficiently and would’ve paid a lot more if we tried to do it ourselves. I highly recommend this company

We joined for the Ephesus leg of the tour and we absolutely LOVED it! So much incredible history and our guide, Coray, provided us with so much information! We cant quite believe that he could remember all of that and never had to refer to notes or anything. We learnt so much during our tour and none of that would've been possible if we had merely taken the tour privately and researched the information ourselves. We highly highly recommend using City of Sultans for not only the Ephesus day trip but any trip around Turkey. You will definitely get your monies worth and even more :)

I want to thank Ozgur for an exceptional job with our tour, flawless no issues whatsoever. I also want to thank each and everyone of our tour guides Mehmet, Riza, Aaron, Aylin, and the funny tour guy in Cappadocia that I forgot his name. Our experience was very pleasant and will come back in the future. Will recommend City of Sultans to everyone, We are actually planning of coming back to Turkey, to much to see for such a great country. People are friendly and food is great.
