The bar service and beverage selection was commendable, the DJ and floor shows were excellent. The movement and handling of the boat was comfortable. Though the decks became crowded, we enjoyed the sights and fireworks. Every hot food item, was cold, and we were first on line. The food ran out especially the fruit and desserts. Unfortunately, people piled food on their plates and left it untouched. SUGGESTION Have staff at the buffet serving the food and have sternos. If sternos are not allowed, advertise it as a cold buffet, with fruit and dessert, keep the open bar and perhaps drop the price by $10.
First if all, boat was difficult to get to. When we finally boarded, the lines were long. Or food was cold and just terrible! They ran out of food very early and were unable to supply more. Seating was limited and if you didn't hold on to your chair, you lose it. It was VERY crowded and not comfortable at all. Food and alcohol we're included, supposedly, but not enough for everyone. They ran out of bottled water and toilet paper which are the simplest items to have. We couldn't wait to get off! NOT ENJOYABLE WHATSOEVER AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!
We went on the Fourth of July fireworks cruise with high hopes for a memorable evening, but overall, the experience fell short of expectations considering the cost. The Positives: The views of New York City and the fireworks were absolutely stunning. That part truly made the evening special. The staff was friendly and did their best to keep things running smoothly despite the crowds. Areas for Improvement: Buffet: We didn’t eat dinner beforehand, expecting the buffet to be substantial, but we were disappointed. The line was extremely long, and when we finally got our food, it was cold and of poor quality. Many people around us seemed to leave most of their food untouched, which made it clear we weren’t alone in feeling this way. Music: The listing mentioned live music, but it wasn’t what we expected. There were live performers playing instrumental music very loudly, and it felt like the same pieces were repeated throughout the cruise. When background tracks were used, some song choices were inappropriate for families with children, and it would have been helpful to have a disclaimer about that ahead of time. Given that it was a Fourth of July cruise, I also anticipated some patriotic music, but there was none. While the beautiful scenery helped salvage the evening, I left feeling the cruise didn’t deliver the quality or experience advertised for the price paid. I hope this feedback helps improve future cruises for others.
This is a complete crap show. People pulling chairs from the dinning area and shoving them up the stairs to place themselves on the top deck, was chaos...then the food line, a bunch of locusts grabbing as much as they can to then leave the plates full of food all over the boat. By the time you got to the front of the line it was slim pickings. No staff supervision or help. Then the bar lines were super long to then finally get to obe that didn't serve or gad ran out of what you wanted...bottled water in this case. I don't understand why they don't implement a colored bracelet code(red, yellow, green and so on) to separate 50 people at a time. Call out the groups for the food and allow a more organized way. As for the top deck viewing, has nobody thought of just having rows of folding chairs already set up to avoid the mayhem that ensued when people figured out they had to climb stairs with the dining chairs???? Absolutely ridiculous!
So, this was a total spur-of-the-moment thing, and wow, am I glad we went! Seriously, the whole event was unbelievably well-organized. From beginning to end, everything ran super smoothly. Security was top-notch, making me feel completely safe and relaxed. The food? Amazing! There was a huge selection, more than enough to go around, and it was all delicious. They had wine, beer, and soda included, which was a nice touch. Cocktails weren't part of the package, but they were reasonably priced. And the music and entertainment? Absolutely fantastic – kept the energy high the whole time! The overall vibe was just so fun and exciting. I had a blast! Virginia & Fran
The 4th of July was fantastic. The staff was friendly. The food was not “gourmet” but fine. I didn’t go for the food. It was a memorable experience
Fireworks were great. Couldn’t get a clear view of fireworks because the front of the boat was in the way.(he never turned the boat) you can’t go to the very front of the boat its only for photographer and staff. And family members of staff….Beer was hot. Food ran out. No toilet paper in woman’s restroom by the end of the night.
Worth every penny.. great cruise great crew Smoth and easy to get in. And Dj band was amaizing. Highly recommended
