Itinerary
We start of our tour at the Giants Ring on the outskirts of Belfast. Here we will give you a timeline for our history and where better to do this than at ancient monument predating the pyramids to a time around 5000 years ago
Travel into south Belfast with its lovely houses and a look around Queens University which is a beautiful building
A visit to the peace walls helps to explain and put in context the conflict that took place in Northern Ireland from the late 60s that most are familiar with. We show you both sides of the divide and give you a historical unbiased overview of the city
This area has a fantastic history with beautiful buildings and monuments right around the city centre. Now a lively tourist area with many bars and restaurants we can drive around this area and see the sights.
Construction started in the late Victorian era and city hall was built to celebrate Belfast gaining city status with its mighty industries of shipbuilding and linen production being the best in the world. You will have time to stroll around its grounds and see inside this magnificent building and the area around it.
Stop at the titanic Museum visiting the shop and seeing where Titanic launched from. We also see one of the last surviving battleships from the First World War and the mighty cranes from Harland and Wolf shipyards who built the Titanic We then pass through into East Belfast where we see some examples of Victorian Belfast and some more murals depicting the troubles from the British perspective.
The beautiful grounds and building known as Stormont, built in 1921 and opened in 1932 is next on the tour where you can see inside with its Greek classical style opulent marble. This building was formed as part of the new governance of Northern Ireland after partition and has a great history. We then finish the tour where you will have seen the best of the city past and presented hopefully a great understanding of our rich history.

We just completed our four hour private Belfast tour with JiMi and it was outstanding. From the moment he met us at our cruise ship dock we had an instant connection and had a very meaningful and personalized tour of the city. JiMi provided remarkable stories of the history of Belfast and his experiences growing up here. He was professional, gracious and made sure we were accommodated throughout our time together. We treasure the time we spent with JiMi and will never forget this experience. We highly recommend him as your tour guide.
Gregor knows Belfast and all its trials and tribulations. We saw so many things in a small time. He was super prepared and had an itinerary planned. Use this guy for your tour! You won’t regret it!
What a great experience working with the team of Trevor and Martin. Trevor was a fantastic communicator and Martin provided a wonderful, personalized tour that we will long remember! Not only did Martin get us to the everyday tourist venues, he also took us to a lesser know, but highly impactful museum, The Irish Republican History Museum. We also enjoyed the experience of learning to pull from the tap and serve a perfect Guinness beer. I can not recommend Martin and their tour enough.
Mike so glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and thank you for visiting Belfast
Our tour was absolutely delightful. Trevor, our guide, was so knowledgeable, friendly and kind. It was one of the best tours we have experienced.
Kristen it was an absolute pleasure to have spent time with you all and so glad you enjoyed it Thank you for your kindness and understanding of our city
Trevor was amazing! He welcomed us to Belfast and quickly went about explaining what life was like. We mentioned that we had been to Derry and he took off from there with a great deal of information and perspective. We’re not museum people, so drive-by views of a few spots were all we needed. He did put Belfast into a political, religious and economic perspective that we never knew. He’s bright, witty and very knowledgeable. You would be fortunate to spend a few hours with him.
Fantastic, comprehensive tour of Belfast. Jimi, our tour guide a lifelong Belfast resident had great depth in the history and landmarks of this fascinating city. The four of us were extremely pleased we picked this tour.
We took the 4 hour tour of Belfast! Our driver Trevor was amazing! Prompt, so kind, personable, and so knowledgeable about his city! He gave us so much important information, was so engaging all awhile keeping the tour fun and very interesting! Was the best tour, highly recommend!
Trevor was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all sides of Belfast both good and bad. Ride was very comfortable. If we are ever back in Belfast, we would ask (insist) on him again.
The tour was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better way to see and learn about the city and it's history. It was equal parts educational and enjoyable, thanks to Trevor who is extremely knowledgeable, very accommodating and just a pleasure to learn from and spend the day with.
Private tour for our family of three easily exceeded our expectations. Trevor was friendly, highly knowledgeable, articulate, personable and flexible to our interests. His car was also super comfy. Highly recommend for those short of time to better understand Belfast, both modern and old.
