It was a great tour to -just in few hours - get a really good overview of some of the most important spots and sights of Taipei. The guide, Rita, was fun, energetic and knowledgeable. We saw temples, markets, cultural places, famous streets and places. Tried Taiwanese breakfast and tea. The bike was super comfy and we biked in a good pace, not too fast, not too slow. It was really fun! All in all, highly recommended!!!
This is an international experience with amazing conversation and discussion about Taiwan! The breakfast and tea treat are quite refreshing breaks for the bike ride! You’ll meet like minded people who enjoy cycling too! Make sure you know how to ride a bike or you’ll be turned away; I only bring this up because the tour guide mentioned this has happened before. The locals ride their bikes often so if you want a local feel this is definitely worth it! The bicycling was an awesome experience but the company and exchange of ideas and experiences was even better! One last tidbit is the views of a the city are awesome and you get a lot of recommendations of places to come back to again and again!
10/10 recommend if you’re in Taipei! Tour guide, Mike, took great care of us and taught us a lot about Taiwan!
A great tour of Taipei! Loved hearing the history of the country and seeing the Memorial, day markets and Longshen Temple. Bring water and sunscreen!
Great experience with Priscilla. I enjoyed breakfast, seeing the temple, the monument amd changing of the guard.
Great tour. We do bike tours a lot and this was one of the best. Longer than most. Apex did a good job making sure everyone could hear what he was telling us. Breakfast was a bonus.
Alex, our guide, was super-friendly and extremely knowledgeable about locations and history of Taipei and Taiwan. The food choice was outstanding and the ride was straightforward and comfortable, even though it rained on us the whole time. A great introduction to the real city.
The evening before my tour date, I received the first message from the tour provider telling me the tour would be cancelled because not enough people had signed up. So poor communication, wish I would have been informed sooner than late in the evening before the tour was supposed to take place so that I could make other plans. And it wasn’t canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Hello Jenny! Thank you for your feedback, and we apologize for the delay in our communication. We understand how frustrating this is, and will try better in the future! Thank you, and we hope you have a wonderful rest of your trip! Always welcome at our shop, your Taipei Bike Works Team, Aly.
Highly recommend this tour- fun, informative and ‘Sweet Potato’ Pricilla was an absolute doll.
Great morning exploring Taipei with Mike. Nice way to get a feel for the city on our first day and get an insight into the history and the people. Route was quiet, no stress, no crowds. Easy and an education. Quality, Thanks Mike.
Thank you very much for the wonderful review. I really appreciate it! -Mike
