An excellent way to find out about how locals really live.
An amazing two days with Li. She was a phenomenal guide who took us through her own lands.. told us stories about her own childhood and how the people including herself live in the past and now present day. She still works in her own rice field and follows a Hmong way of life. We stayed in the original buffalo house which is basic but totally manageable for one night. Take wipes! There’s no shower!! The food li cooked and our homestay hosts was fantastic. Could not have asked for anything better. A great trip.

Seriously, guys, It is blowing our minds right now! It's like a whole new world of awesomeness. We're amazed by the beauty, the culture, the everything while trekkings to Buffalo house! This place is like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.
Power going out now and then can be a pain, but they're good about letting you know what's up and making it as smooth as possible.

The kindness of the staff and all their suggestions for excursions and transportation from and to Sa Pa. We loved breakfast, full of choices for everyone.
I think breakfast was a bit chaotic although nothing wrong with the catering.

The views were as advertised and looked amazingThe views were as advertised and looked amazing. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful in helping us organise our trip to Fansipan mountain.
While the views were great, the home itself is quite far from the centre of town. There is a shuttle taxi service which is good but it's still a bit inconvenient to get around

The staff were very nice and friendly. They helped me book my bus trips and chatted with me. It was very nice. 10/10 Also the location of the place is great! Close to attractions but not too near the main streets that its noisy.
The toilet is a bit damp.
