Guide cancelled the tour, however, I was not notified. Spent money for taxi, searched for 30 minutes to locate meeting point. Messaged guide - that is when I was told of cancellation.
This was the worst bike tour i have ever taken. Most importantly it is not safe. We started the tour with no instructions about our bikes, the rules of the road, etc... We went on extremely busy roads for 80% of the trip with many round abouts. The drivers in Casablanca don't obey traffic rules and the tour giide never explained anything to is nor looked back to make sure we were safe. It was incredibly stressful ( and we are urban cyclists). In addition, when we arrived for the tour, the bike owner said that the original tour guide didn't remember he had a scheduled tour and he had to find us another licensed tour guide. We waited for a half hour. The tour guide he found had very limited English, even though this was a tour for English speakers. It turned ot thay the newly recruited tour guide said he gives tours in Italian and Spanish. The tour had very little explanations along the way. The bikes were in poor condition. My partner's biked was wobbling and the brakes were loose (he had to adjust it) and the chain was not well luvricated. We asked for a bike helmet and the one I wore had no padding and the exposed Velcro was digging in to my head and hair. The one my partner wore was too small for an adult male but he only had that one available. The tour was supposed to last 2.5-3 hours. The tour went on for 5 hours. There was no food offered on the tour, so when we returned at 3 pm we were starving. We asked to return many times after the three hour mark. The tour owner apologized for the length of the tour and it appeared that he sent us out with a tour guide he has never met before. While the
It was a very enjoyable tour of this part of Morocco, the bikes were nice and the route covered many parts of the city and gave a good insight to life there. The tour guide Yussif was fantastic, he explained things very well and took care of those in the tour.
A fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and a sense of humor that made this trip worthwhile.
I highly recommend this trip as a great way to see Casablanca. Its quite a big place so to cover it on a bike is ideal, and its mostly flat ! I was given good information and spent a really nice couple of hours with Yassine.
This was a fantastic tour. Loved what we saw and our guide was really fun. We learned and lot and enjoyed the exercise. Highly recommend this excursion.
Competent guide and very interesting, versatile bike tour. Very much seen by Casablanca - old and new.
What an awesome bike tour through Casablanca! More people should do this - it's not to be missed. You'll visit sites not on the 'regular' tourist radar and learn a lot about the history and culture of Casablanca and Morocco. No disappoints on this ride - we had an engaged, fun, friendly, and informative guide. Thank you!
Perfect way to tour Casablanca! Yasmine was very knowledgeable and provided just enough I formation. We toured many areas that would have been hard to get to on foot. We spent time navigating the streets and felt really immersed into Casablanca. I can’t recommend this tour enough! What a great time!
Hang onto the phone number, rain or shine just go and have the immersive adventure. Bikes are good, tour is safe, a real hidden gem!
