2 Nights 3 Days Chobe Safari ex Livingstone/ Victoria Falls

Amazing does not describe the experience well enough. Up there with the best things I have ever done, and to do it with my family was epic. My two sons will remember this for their whole life. Big ups to O.P. the king of Botswana, our guide. He made the trip unforgettable, his title is well deserved, his 18 years as a guide is obvious. Also thank you to the cooks Mr D and Bothe, amazing food, well done. Chobe river front park is packed with game, predators and scavengers, a must do if you are in the region.

We had a great time with Kalahari Tours visiting Chobe National Park - Kasane. Our three days and two nights consisted of a pickup/border crossing to/from our lodging in Livingstone, Zambia, two boat rides, and four game drives during our two nights in the bush. Our Kalahari team consisted of Lance, Major, Jacob, and MP. Lance and Major were our primary guides; my husband and I spent most of the trip with Lance, but appreciated the opportunities to learn from Major, too. MP served delicious meals, and we appreciated the way Jacob managed the camp. The camping accommodations were clean and more upscale than we expected (as backpackers/tent campers ourselves). We loved camping under the stars and enjoying the conversation by the fire, meeting people from a variety of places and experiences. We saw many animals, and Lance asked what we were interested in, making sure to point out animals outside the 'usual' (many birds and some reptiles) that our group was hoping to spot. Our guides were detailed and knowledgeable about the area, wildlife, and environment. Great hospitality, exceptional communication with the tour operator, and a wonderful time! This was our first safari experience, and I would highly recommend spending time camping in the bush; we wish we had done another night or two!

We were looked after very well by Nelson and the crew. They were cring and considerate to our needs. Beautiful place and we had a wonderful time.

We loved our time in Chobe!! We were incredibly accommodated for and every aspect of the trip was thoroughly explained. Both the safari and camping were very controlled and safe. We saw every animal we could have imagined, and so up-close! Our wonderful experience could not have happened without the care of our guide, Caleb. He was very kind and patient, and made sure we had the best time. Thank you Caleb!

We experienced our first safari as if in a dream. An experienced, efficient, and friendly team. A guide who took the time to explain the park and nature to us and did his best to show us the big 4. A very comfortable camp ideally located in the middle of the park. 100% recommendable.

Absolutely amazing experience and the highlight of our trip to Africa! Our tour guide Nelson was phenomenal. Saw so much wildlife. He was very respectful of the animals and Park. Accommodations were great (it is camping) but very comfortable. A shout out to Chef P for his good food, and being especially accommodating to my daughter with celiac disease - always had gluten-free food just for her that was delicious! Two of us had done a day trip in Chobe a few years ago. If you have the opportunity to do a three day Safari, you will see so much more than just the day trip, enjoying sunrises, sunsets, and a plethora of animals.

My boyfriend and I booked the 3-day 2-night safari experience with Kalahari Tours, and it was completely epic. On our trip, every day was a good one for seeing animals. We saw lions, giraffes, elephants (so many), hippos (lots), zebras, baboons, monkeys, lizards, crocs, and too many crazy birds to list by name. We also managed to glimpse an elusive leopard which was pretty special. Our guide, OP, was a total rockstar. His immense knowledge of the Chobe area and the animal behaviour within was evident. If I come back to Botswana, I will definitely request OP. Our campsite managers, Jakob and MP, were also total rockstars. When we arrived back after each drive, the campsite was set up with comforts and culinary delights. For me, sleeping amongst the animals every night was the cherry on cake. I will never forget hearing the hyenas call under the Botswana stars.

From start to finish, this camping trip was such a special experience! Our guide, Chika had incredible knowledge of the wildlife and area. You could tell how much he loves what he does! He made every moment exciting, interesting and memorable for us. Pontsho, our camp chef, not only made delicious meals every day (we already miss his fresh baked bread!), but also brought such a warm and positive energy to camp that made every meal and evening feel even more enjoyable. Amos, as camp manager, made our stay feel incredibly comfortable, organised and relaxed. An extra thank you to Terry for adding to the magic of our trip, you are already well on your way to becoming a fantastic and knowledgeable guide! The whole team made us feel so welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip and we are so grateful we got to experience Chobe this way. The memories, people and atmosphere made it something we’ll never forget.

This experience was one of the best things I have ever done. 3 days exploring chobe while camping amongst it all was truely incredible. Recommend to everyone wanting a fully immersive experience. There was an abundance of animals. The team was so friendly and helpful with our last minute booking. Our guide Nelson was amazing and so kind. He was so knowledgeable about safety, the area and all of the animals. He made sure we all had the best time. The food was so delicious and varied. 10/10 recommend this experience. Thank you Kalahari for an experience I will never forget.

Great tour. Caleb was our guide and pick-up person at Chobe Inn. Super punctual! During the tour in the national park, he answered all questions competently and explained a lot about the habits and peculiarities of the animals. He took great care of us photographers and patiently endured my bird obsession, ensuring that I could take great pictures. Thank you, Caleb, at this point. The camp was functional, and the kitchen for the circumstances (cooking over an open fire) was fantastic. The rolls exceeded even German expectations for bread. Overall, highly recommended.
