Description
Enjoy this exhilarating 2-hour ride through the Costa Rican jungle. Offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Jaco Beach and the Nicoya Peninsula, this tour is great for groups on a limited time frame. After meeting up and getting situated on your ATV, you will be on your way to experiencing 20 kilometers of rain forest and beach views with your bilingual guide. You will see the pacific ocean, Jaco beach, ride to the tops of the Agujitas Mountains, and even see a small waterfall. Food and drinks are not included on this tour.

- All ATV/Rhino Tours will require that a credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) voucher be taken and kept on file until the vehicle is returned in the same condition in which it was rented. Once the vehicle has been returned safely to our shop in the same condition in which it was rented, your voucher will either be returned to you, or destroyed on the spot, whichever you prefer. You must bring the required number of credit cards with you to Adventure Tours Costa Rica on the day of your ATV/Rhino tour. The number of credit cards required for your ATV Tour with us are as follows: 1 - 4 vehicles -1 card with a hold of $1000 5 – 8 vehicles - 2 cards with hold of $1000 each 9 – 12 vehicles – 3 cards with a hold of $1000 each.
- Recommended to Bring: Closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes, etc), Clothes you can get dirty (shorts/t-shirts), Swimsuits, Sunscreen, Bug spray (though not necessary)
- Children under 4 years old can't ride
- Will be operated by a multi-lingual guide (Spanish and English)
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Trail conditions and rider ability may alter routes; therefore any features described herein may not be available for each tour. Please speak directly with your guide on the day of your tour for an up-to-date description of the expected route, as conditions can change on a daily basis.
- Minimum drinking age in Costa Rica is 18 years
- No flip flops, sandals, or open-toed shoes
- ATV drivers must be 16 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license
- Unlicensed participants and children under 16 must ride as passengers
- The number of ATV passengers in your group may not outnumber the ATV drivers

Our family of four had a wonderful time on this adventure! I didn't book the tour until late the night before but they were very accommodating. Our guide, Kiko, made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. We stopped about halfway through the tour for a quick bite to eat at a delicious little restaurant on top of the mountain. This was our first excursion in Costa Rica and a great way to kick of our vacation. I would definitely book with Adventure Tours Costa Rica again.
My daughter and I had an awesome time on this adventure. This was the whole reason my daughter picked coming to Costa Rica for her graduation gift and it did not disappoint. Dennis our guide was amazing, I love the fact that you go through little communities, forests, creeks and you can stop and take photos along the way.
Jordan was a great tour guide and took great pics. He was nice to chat with and very informative. ATV ran well. Scenery was beautiful. Waterfall was refreshing.
Dennis was the best. Your safety is paramount to this company and Dennis showed that as he guided us through the streets and tight turns. My daughter really wanted to do this excursion and it is probably the best in any country we have visited.
The guide was great and they also picked us up and dropped us at the condo. The ride was great and was just our group of 6 family members. A few of us could have done more adventerous riding, like more off-road terrain, but understand why they don't. The only downer is that the guide took a ton of pictures and we did not get them. Contacted the company twice since then and they were super nice and said they would get ahold of the location to resend them and never got them so we have no photo memories as we didn't take much ourselves as we figured on getting those.
So much fun and fantastic views! I bet it’s even more fun during the rainy season where it’s a little bit more muddy than dusty

If you have not done ATV ride, the two hour tour is ideal for you (it was our first). It would have made the first 15-20 min more enjoyable if the 4 wheel drive option was selected by our guide. Recommend for families
