Made it to the summit. It was a great journey, Toubkal was still covered in ice so a little tougher than I was expecting. Refuge was warm, decent food, and provided warm blankets.
We summited with thanks to our guide Mohammed Mansouri, timing our summit perfectly for sunrise. He was an amazing guide and made it an experience we shall never forget, he even gifted us his chocolate bar at the top when we said we were hungry. Top tip: bring lots of snacks but if you’re with Mohammed you’re guaranteed a great hike no matter what! - Olivia and Hazel:)
We did the overnight trek to Toubkal and it went great. Radouane was very communicative in planning, and our guide Yassine was wonderful. Highly recommend.
With a group of five we did a three-day hike from Imlil centre to the summit of Toubkal via Tizi n'Mzik and Tizi Aguelzim. We were accompanied by our amazing guide Radouane and sometimes by our cook Omar. We really enjoyed the breathtaking views and the delicious food. While hiking, our guide Radouane told us about the Berber culture, the local wildlife, and even sang traditional songs for us. It truly was a magical experience.
Radouane was an amazing guide — smart, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He taught us a lot about Toubkal and Moroccan culture, and was always kind and supportive during the hike.
The hike up Toubkal was a great experience for me, my brother and our father. Sayed adapted to our pace, as our father repeatedly needed breathers, especially on the second day. The first day is a leisurely hike. It was hot at the beginning, but at the base camp the wind refreshed with only 10°C. On the way up there is about 1x an hour an opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. After Base Camp, however, there is nothing left. You should take enough water for the summit. Base Camp is amazingly well equipped. We slept with 25 people in a mattress warehouse. Showers, toilets, hot meals, everything there. 3:00 wake up call. After breakfast, we head to the summit in absolute darkness. Headlamp absolutely necessary! Descent in sunlight was much easier 😊 By lunchtime we were already quite far down and strengthened ourselves with a tajine and tea. The second day was a bit more challenging, but with a certain basic fitness also for our 70-year-old father.
World class guide; knowledgeable, fit and experienced. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for an action packed couple of days with breathtaking views.
Our guide, Radouane, was perfect. The experience was magical! The course is affordable, if you're a little athletic.
My friend and I went on a two-day hiking trip to Tokual with Radoune. He was very helpful, attentive, and funny. He adjusted to our pace and shared his gear whenever we needed something. We really enjoyed the trip and highly recommend it. Tina & Jasmin
