Our tour guide was Justin who was awesome! Since it was August the ability to see all of these to complement our Vegas show week was absolutely incredible. We had rain and the Antelope Canyon closed the afternoon we were there. Justin/MaxTour adjusted so we could see it in the morning with only small other adjustments. Justin was informative, courteous, professional. Would go on another tour! Thanks.
Jim is a very good guide and he shared a lot in the journey. He is good to everyone. If I have time I will pick a three day tours, as I want more time in the small tours.
We had a fantastic two-day tour with Max Tours visiting Zion National Park, Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon. It was a long couple of days with a lot of driving, but it was absolutely worth it. Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon were both incredible and, in our opinion, places everyone should see at least once in their lifetime. Our tour guide, Leslie, was fantastic. We had a little hiccup at Zion on the first day, when we were given around an hour and a half to explore. We were advised about the Emerald Pools and took the shuttle, but by the time we got there we realised there wasn’t enough time to complete the walk and get back. We ended up returning about 20 minutes late, along with another group of four from our tour. At the time, Leslie was understandably quite stressed and explained that she was restricted by driving-hour regulations and that if we missed the departure time, we could potentially have a very long wait for another driver. Initially, we found this a little upsetting, but as the tour went on we got to know Leslie and discovered what a lovely person she was. When I later mentioned that she’d seemed a little scary that day, she told me that she had been scared too! It completely changed our perspective and actually became something we could laugh about afterwards. Leslie also went above and beyond for us later in the tour. At Antelope Canyon I became dizzy and overheated, so when the rest of the group went to Horseshoe Bend, Leslie took us directly to the hotel so I could rest. She then waited in a queue for around half an hour because the hotel was having problems with their room keys. We were worried that she wouldn’t make it back in time to collect the rest of the group, but she made sure we were safely checked in and then went back for everyone else. That was incredibly kind and showed just how much she cared about her passengers. The van was very comfortable, particularly because there were only eight people on our tour rather than the maximum of 14. My husband and I even had three seats between us, so we had a bit of extra room. There were plenty of drinks and snacks provided throughout the trip, which was a nice touch. The accommodation was probably the weakest part of the tour. The hotel had the key issue mentioned above, and the air conditioning in our room was extremely loud, which meant my husband didn’t sleep particularly well. It was fine for one night, but it wasn’t the highlight of the trip. The itinerary was generally very well planned. The days are long and there is a lot of driving, but we had plenty of time at both Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon, which were the main reasons we booked the tour. Apart from the little hiccup at Zion, we felt the timing worked really well. Our group was also fantastic. There were only eight of us and, as it happened, we were all Australians, so everyone got along really well. That made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we thought this tour was excellent value for money and we’d definitely recommend it. The scenery was spectacular, the small group made the van journey comfortable, the tour was well organised, and Leslie was a wonderful guide who genuinely went above and beyond. Despite a couple of minor hiccups, we had a brilliant time and came away with some unforgettable memories.
I can’t recommend this tour and our guide, Justin, enough! We had some hiccups with the weather and had to reschedule our Antelope Canyon Tour for the next morning. It was seamless; and as a bonus we were able to tour and walk around the Glen Canyon dam. Truly a wonderful experience!
Great experience, tour is so well planned and Justin is the best tour guide.
We had an absolutely excellent and memorable experience with Justin as our tour guide for the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Zion National Park, and Horseshoe Bend. Justin was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire trip. He did a wonderful job explaining the history, geology, and interesting details of each place, while also making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the experience. His enthusiasm and professionalism really stood out. Visiting these incredible places was already a special experience, but having Justin as our guide made the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. He was patient, organized, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. We highly recommend Justin to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Zion, and Horseshoe Bend. Thank you, Justin, for making our trip so special!
I really enjoy my trip with the guide Jim. He is so excellent and careful about every detail of the trip. Two-Day Antelope Canyon Tour is unforgettable! Hope to do it again!
Just got back from an absolute dream 3-day tour with Maxtour, and my mind is still blown. Every single stop felt straight out of an action movie or another planet. Riding up 6,500 feet along Zion's cliffside through those dark tunnels was pure adrenaline, and hiking the Riverside Walk felt like trekking through the Amazon like Indiana Jones. The slot canyons were hauntingly beautiful, with natural rock sculptures that looked like ghostly figures trying to break out of the walls. Monument Valley's 4x4 tour was the absolute highlight—those massive, iconic buttes looked like a prehistoric Western movie set. Standing on Forrest Gump Hill with my arms wide open is a memory I will keep forever. The deep blue curve of the Colorado River at Horseshoe Bend was stunning, and Bryce Canyon's hoodoos brought the Coyote legend to life right before our eyes. Having seen Mather Point in the winter, I can say without a doubt that Yavapai Point, is the grandest view of the Grand Canyon of them all. On top of that, we got bonus views from Lipan and Grandview point too. What made this trip truly unforgettable was our guide, Jim. Since it was just the two touring guests includoingme, it felt like a top-tier private VIP tour the entire time. Jim knows the natural and anthropological history of these lands inside out. He managed everything flawlessly: driving smoothly, dodging bad weather with expert timing, finding clean restrooms and incredible local food spots, keeping the car fully stocked with snacks and drinks, and playing a playlist that set the ultimate vibe. I cannot thank Jim and Maxtour enough. Easiest 5-star review ever.
What an incredible review to read, and “straight out of an action movie or another planet” might be one of our favorite descriptions of the 3-Day Tour yet! We love that so many of the landscapes, from the soaring cliffs and slot canyons to Monument Valley, Horseshoe Bend, Bryce Canyon, and the Grand Canyon, left such a lasting impression. This itinerary packs an extraordinary amount of scenery into three days, and it sounds like you embraced every stop and bonus viewpoint along the way. Thank you for calling it an “absolute dream” and an easy 5-star experience, and most of all, thank you for exploring the Southwest with MaxTour!
Our Three-Day Tour with Jim was amazing! He was polite, professional, and made sure everyone was comfortable. He always stopped for restroom breaks, provided plenty of snacks and water, and shared interesting facts and stories about every place we visited. His music choices made the long drives even more enjoyable. Thank you, Jim, for an unforgettable trip to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the Grand Canyon. Highly recommended!
I did the three day tour with Jim. Highly recommend it. Jim was knowledgable about the different sites and a friendly tour guide. I got to explore different locations with new friends I made on the trip.
