We have lunch together in one of the few luxury lodges. There you can freshen up and use the toilets. 3) Close to the city: although Arusha NP is only about 1 hour drive from Arusha, it is a bit of an insider tip and therefore not overcrowded. 4) Variety of wildlife and flora: Arusha NP is home to an impressive variety of animal and plant species such as zebras, antelopes, giraffes and monkeys. A some of rare and endangered species are also at home here. 5) Scenic beauty: Arusha NP is known for its breathtaking landscapes. The park offers spectacular views of the famous Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.

SAFARI AT ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK We drive in a Toyota Land Cruiser with safari roof for about 1 hour to Arusha National Park, which is beautifully situated between the peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. It impresses with spectacular landscapes and a rich flora and fauna. The Arusha National Park can be easily explored on a day trip. Even on a short safari, a diverse spectrum of animal and plant species can be admired in this charming park away from the large crowds of visitors. Moreover, due to the possibility of day trips, you can also experience a rather inexpensive safari here. From shade and forest plants to tropical palms and alpine highland vegetation, there is much to discover in Arusha National Park. 400 different species of birds, including many waterfowl, migratory birds and native species, have already been sighted. Thousands of flamingos also gather at the lakes at times. And black and white stump monkeys can be seen in the trees again and again.

The tour starts every Monday at 7.30am with a small breakfast in the cafe next to our head office. Either you come directly to us or we pick you up at your hotel or any other place in and around Arusha. Just let us know.

We were recommended this company and it did not disappoint! You drive deep up into the mountains and take in all of the breathtaking views while smelling the fresh air. The Maasai tribe welcomes you with a dance and then a tour of their village. After that you enter the Ngorongoro crater where you see all of the animals. Not only is the scenery around you magnificent but the up close views of the animals a lifetime experience. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience, from the animals to the landscape. As it is a one day tour, the time for exploration is compressed, but Andrew ensured we made the most of it. The animal tracking was excellent - I feel that I saw the major highlights of the park - and the guides provided the information and context about the observed behaviors and scenes that maximized the moments. Also, Andrew was also really helpful and very communicative on the logistical side of things leading up to the trip which especially helps when time is short! High recommended day trip!

We had a great experience with Jackpot safari. You make a safari plan together with Andrew taking your wishes in to a count. He is very experienced guide who knows all ins and outs about the safari parks. Fair pricing. We stayed in the Baobab luxury. Well organized, hygienic and beautiful rooms, located on wonderful spots in the safari parks. We would definitely recommend Jackpot safari and would work together with Andrew again.
