Laila is a fantastic guide and photographer. If you want to visit a place that is not busy at all, Madura island is a great pick. The fried duck was absolutely delicious (I never liked duck, but this will definitely be a new craving for me). The driver was also really friendly. I suggest visiting on a weekend if you can, so you can watch the batik making process too. The mines themselves are active and not necessarily fit for tourism, but it is definitely a cool experience and a nice place for photos. Definitely would be better to go with a family or larger group to make it worth the cost (although this tour company still offers a much much much more reasonable price compared to some other ones). Overall, East Journey Surabaya, Laila and the overall trip were all fantastic, I would just suggest it is better to book on a weekend or with a large group.
