1/2 Day Whitewater Rafting Trip near Boise, ID

What a fun and relaxing time we had on the river. We met our guide Claire and driver/photographer Ness for the 12pm river trip. We were sent directions ahead of time and they were easy to follow. Once we met up Ness drove us to the put in. We were given life vests that were well maintained and he fitted us perfectly. Once we got on the river it was beautiful and relaxing. Claire was an expert at directing us when to paddle. She was very friendly and knowledgeable abt the area and Boise in general. The river was gentle with a few small rapids for some excitement. We stopped at a beach and the water felt amazing. As we rafted Ness went to a few look out spots and took some pictures of us going down the river. They sent all the pictures to my email at no additional cost (what an excellent perk!!!). We loved them! This trip would be good for anyone wanting to see the beauty of the river. It was a reasonable price and we would definitely do it again. Thank you Claire and Ness for giving us a fun afternoon on the water.

Did a solo trip out on the morning of a wedding I was attending and it was amazing! Our guides were great and the rafting was fun!! Also the photos turned out great! Nothing extreme at all but we all definitely got soaked!

This was a perfect day! We saw two mink. Our guide, Claire, was terrific and a wonderful conversationalist.

I can not say enough good things about this experience, Our guides were the best and the others on the boat made it so fun. My son and I have done these all over and this was one of the best experiences. Definately book with them again.

We had a wonderful experience with AMF Rafting! We were trying to book a rafting trip with only a few days' notice, and initially there wasn't enough room for all five people in our group. Sydnee personally called to apologize and later texted to let me know she was going to do everything she could to make it happen. Since we had such a short window while visiting Idaho, experiencing the Payette River was at the top of our list. About an hour later, Sydnee called back with great news—she had found a way to fit us in! We were incredibly grateful and so glad we chose this smaller, family-owned business. Our guide, Nessen, was fantastic. He kept us entertained with stories about the river and the area while sharing interesting facts throughout the trip. As an unexpected bonus, Sydnee took photos of our family along the route and emailed them to us the very same day at no extra charge. If you're planning a rafting trip on the Payette River, I highly recommend AMF Rafting. Sydnee and her family go above and beyond to make sure you have an unforgettable experience. Their exceptional customer service and genuine hospitality made this one of the highlights of our Idaho trip.

We had an amazing time on our rafting trip! We are a family of four with an adrenaline-seeking 13 year-old and a much more timid 6-year old, and they both had a blast. Our guides, Nessen and Claire, were both knowledgeable, professional, and personable. On the raft, Nessen made us feel safe and secure while also ensuring that there was enough excitement for our son (he loved being able to "ride the bull"). And throughout our trip, Claire was on land capturing some awesome action shots that they sent to us for no extra charge. We highly recommend this trip and would do it again if we are ever in Boise again.

We had a great time. Claire was an awesome and sweet guide. The kids and the adults had an equally good time! Pics that were included were the icing on the cake!!!

This rafting trip was SO MUCH FUN! We screamed with laughter and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rapids were exciting with just the right amount of thrill. The young people who managed the trip were delightful and I would absolutely recommend this rafting trip for all ages.

We had an absolutely amazing experience with AMF Rafting, and Claire and Sydnee made the entire trip unforgettable! From the moment we arrived (we got there about 30 minutes early), they were welcoming, organized, and genuinely excited to have us. We ended up having the raft all to ourselves, which made the experience feel so personal. Claire and Sydnee were the perfect combination of professional, knowledgeable, and hilarious. They made everything feel effortless. Even though it was our first time rafting together as a family, it honestly felt like we’d been doing this for years with them. They made us feel that comfortable. Our 9-year-old had the time of his life! They included him in everything, answered all of his questions, and made sure he felt like part of the adventure. One of our favorite moments was when we passed some cows along the river and they immediately declared the next rapid “Moo Moo Rapids.” 😂 It’s such a silly little memory, but it’s exactly the kind of thing that made the trip so special. We loved that they found a calm spot where we could jump in and swim, and the scenery on the Payette River was absolutely beautiful. The rapids were exciting without ever feeling intimidating, and the entire trip was fun, relaxed, and completely stress-free. We left exhausted in the best way possible, with huge smiles and memories we’ll be talking about for years. Claire and Sydnee are incredible guides, and we can’t recommend them enough. If you’re debating whether to book this trip, do it. You won’t regret it!
