They serve the food pretty fast. Dumplings were good. However, when I booked ed the tickets, there were no choice of seat selection and we were assigned on the back. There are many people blocking our view of the show- really have to stick my head out to view the show.

The show is fascinating with music and typical dance from China, the costumes are colorful and impressive. The dinner was good, mainly filled ravioli with different proteins. Highly recommended.

The show beyond my expectation. A beautiful artistic representation of Tang's Dynasty's Glorious past, with Xi'An as the capital of this empire and its cultural splendor that surpassed all frontiers, including the Silk Route.

Very cool show and good food. Food felt very rushed but overall good.

Chinese musical instruments were great. Very colourful costumes, lots of parading, posturing and swaying around. The storyline was unclear and due to the seating arrangement it was hard to view the screen at the side. Hard to enjoy the meal which was mainly served in the dark. Very disappointing table service with uneven serving portions. Not very tasty.

Good show overall, loved the constumes, the music and the scenery!. The only negative is the limited visibility depending where are you seated (the seats are arranged as dinning tables and the ones closer to the aisle have people in front of them when the show starts, so you don't have a full view and need to turn 90 degrees in order to watch it).

We were part of a group of 20 with reservations for this show. We arrived just before 5 pm and were seated with a good view of the stage. The dinner is multiple courses, and the servers began bringing food right after we were seated. The lights were dimmed twice during our dinner as performers paraded onto the stage, and gave us previews of what to expect during the show. Due to the large number of courses and the pre-show, none of our group and also many others at neighboring tables did not finish eating before the show began at 5:45. That meant you had to finish your meal in low light and have constant distractions from the waiters bringing food and clearing dishes. The meal itself was fairly good, and the performers and their costumes were excellent. There were even display screens on each side of the stage explaining the storyline (in English and Chinese) as the show progressed.

Great show. Great show. We also had the dumpling dinner in advance. Enjoyed it very much. Do eat a little more......

The show was absolutely incredible. We really enjoyed it! 5 stars. We had the royal banquet and the food was just average for us. But overall a great experience in Xi’an!

The show is professional and spectacular, really enjoyed it. But the vegetarian dumplings were something else - cold, dry, tasteless - truly awful, virtually inedible. If you see the show you will love it - but be warned about the dumplings - avoid.
