Fantastic day had by all, the younger kids thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling and my eldest love the speedboat ride. Buffet breakfast and lunch was good, plenty of choice & lots of varieties.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Experience — Thank You, Xel-Há Team! My family and I visited Xel-Há Park on July 3, 2026. Unfortunately, during our visit, another tourist—not a park employee—somehow gained access to my locker, took my bag into the restroom, and stole approximately $600 USD in cash and my Samsung Galaxy S25 phone. We discovered what had happened when we returned to the locker area to get a few things so we could continue enjoying our day. My bag was missing, and while we were looking around, an employee found it. That was when we realized that my money and phone had been stolen. We immediately reported the incident to security, and that is when we saw how much the employees at Xel-Há truly care about their guests. The lady working at the Brown Station locker area immediately contacted security. Mr. Benito from security was absolutely amazing. He was supportive, calm, professional, and genuinely concerned. He assured us that the team would do everything possible to identify the person responsible. He simply asked us to give them some time to review the cameras and investigate. We decided to continue with our day, although, of course, we were frustrated and upset. What impressed us was that everywhere we went, Xel-Há employees reassured us that the team was actively working on our case. When we visited the information center, Elizabeth apologized for what had happened and explained that the team was reviewing the security cameras. At that point, I was very pessimistic. I truly believed that my phone and money were gone forever. Mr. Benito spoke with me again and said, “Go enjoy the park with your family and come back in an hour or two. We should have an update for you.” I followed his advice. Even though I was upset and frustrated, I wanted to keep a smile on my face for my children and make the best of the situation. After we finished enjoying the water tubes, we returned to ask for another update. I was told that the investigation was still ongoing. I was beginning to lose hope, but what I didn’t know was that the entire Xel-Há team was working behind the scenes, using their security resources to identify, locate, and track the person responsible. Then something happened that I will never forget. Rodrigo found me while I was with my family. He apologized for everything we had experienced and explained how the team had spent hours identifying and locating the person responsible. Then he told me the words I never expected to hear: “I have your stuff.” They had recovered my phone and my money! I still cannot believe it. What the Xel-Há team did was absolutely amazing. They used their security systems, their resources, and their teamwork to make sure the person responsible was identified and that my belongings were returned to me. The professionalism was impressive, but what touched us the most was the genuine care and concern shown by the staff throughout the entire situation. They treated us like our problem mattered to them personally. Thank you to the entire Xel-Há and Xcaret team. A very special thank you to Benito, Rodrigo, Elizabeth, the staff at the Brown Station locker area, the security team, and everyone else who worked behind the scenes to help us. My family and I will never forget what you did for us. You turned an extremely upsetting experience into an unforgettable example of kindness, professionalism, dedication, and excellent customer service. The transport is there to pick up sharp at the hotel and we were at the park right at 9am when they opened. What can I say about this piece of paradise? Magnificent! This was a breath of fresh air since there was sargassum at our hotel beach, but minimal here (just at La Cueva de Los Secretos since it kinda opens to the ocean a bit). We did the slides at the lighthouse first, then went to the lazy river, then did the zip lines. The park is big, but getting there at 9am and leaving at 6pm there’s plenty of time. Some attractions we did twice. It was not crowded at all, even for a Friday. The foods and drinks were amazing and plentiful with several options. Overall we had an amazing time and will return again if visiting the area.

This is our second visit to the site; we expected to see more fish, but the water was murky as well. We saw gigantic stingrays and large gray fish. The food at the buffet was inedible.

However, you can usually find a large concentration of fish in the middle of the cove, right in front of La Cocina restaurant, marked by a colorful fish-shaped flag. It was a spectacular experience; we went for our 5th anniversary with my husband. From the moment they picked us up until the return, the dedication of the workers was evident. In the park, everything was absolutely beautiful. Despite it being seaweed season, they kept the waters as clean as possible. The food was delicious, we got the unlimited photo package, and it was the best decision since the photos are incredible. I definitely recommend it 1000/10; I will return soon, I am sure of that.

Don't book the tour with this and doing separate cenotes in the same day, it would be too much. You will want a full day at this park in itself. Overall a good day though, but when we were sold visiting "cenotes" then those were disappointing in comparison to others in the Yucatan. In the water park, they are actually replacing the signs which say cenotes with the word "caves" which are more fitting. The park claims to have 50 activities and our all inclusive isn't truly that, you have to pay for many extras, but things like snorkeling, lazy river, caves are included. I would say there is mainly about a dozen things to do total, but they probably are including platforms in the water, photo ops, etc as separate things-to-do. The children's play area was pretty nice with a small trail of elevated walkways to challenge the kids. The lifeguards there blow their whistle for about everything, even at adults. Lifejackets are mandatory everywhere when in the water, even in shallow areas. There are lifejackets for all ages (including infants) and people of all sizes and they are readily available throughout the entire park, so you don't have to carry them from stop to stop. The main buffet included in our all inclusive was decent, but the same dishes throughout the day from breakfast to dinner. If you want dinner you have to get there at least 30 minutes before they close because right at closing time there is a mad rush of employees packing it all up and throwing everything out. They cleanup everything in under 10 minutes, so don't go last minute and expect to eat. Even the ice cream runs out by the end of the day. The other smaller buffet restaurants were ok too for lunch, with less variety. The walk around the entire park is a few miles long so if you are on the far side of the lake, beyond the floating bridge then give yourself ample time to get back. If you decide to float down the lazy river to get back, the jump out point isn't clearly marked. But, you can (for free) leave your stuff in a locked bag, and they will bring it to the end of the lazy river (near the park entrance) so you don't have to worry about getting it all wet. The lazy river will take you 1+ hour to get through, if you don't stop so give yourself time to get back, change, eat, etc before you need to depart. I wouldn't suggest starting the lazy river after 2:30pm. We were in Cancun during a very slow season, so the lazy river was not that busy. The line for the water slide which goes around the "lighthouse" was less than 10 people when we got to the top (lots of stairs, no elevator). So it was nice to not have to wait in line. You would think the water slide would be fast, but it was much slower than I expected, other than the final drop at the end. Water shoes are allowed in most of the park and I would recommend having them, but they are not allowed on the water slide to prevent injury. Overall for the price per person it was kinda costly, but included transport which was helpful. The transport driver was mad at us because we were late to come out due to the baby having a poopy diaper, but with a 1+ hour transport we had to change him so the other vehicle passengers didn't need to smell it. He was speeding back afterward and got pulled over by the police and given a ticket which delayed us more returning.
