Great tour. Our guide Yev(sp?) was, friendly, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. We received a healthy amount of wine knowledge and wine tastings. The lunch was delicious. We were extremely satisfied with the excursion and highly recommended it!!
Paola was an excellent guide. The explanation of the area and the wines was very informative. All of the wones were great. The linch was exceptional. Highly recommend. Enjoy

What a day! Danté our guide was superb from start to finish. Being a WSET Certified Wine Expert his breadth of knowledge on the history of the area and its wine making was exceptional. From pick up to set down he spoke with enthusiasm and love of the area and it’s wine production . Any question was answered in depth and his enthusiasm on the topic was infectious. I could not recommend this tour enough and if possible ask for Danté as your guide! Santé
If they do not get enough people for the trip, they may cancel your trip and not tell you. We were at the pick-up on plenty of time and when they turned up, they took 6 other passengers but said our trip was cancelled. They said Viator had cancelled the trip. Viator confirmed the trip had been cancelled by the service provider. I recommend Bordeaux So You - they are excellent and better value for money.

Our team tried to contact you five days before the tour, and again on the days leading up to the departure — by phone and by multiple messages — but unfortunately we never received a reply or confirmation from you. Without confirmation from the customer, and in accordance with Viator’s policies, the booking was automatically cancelled in the system. When our guide arrived at the meeting point, your reservation already appeared as cancelled by Viator due to the lack of customer response. The other passengers you saw were part of a different tour that had been fully confirmed. We understand your disappointment, but we want to be transparent: we made several attempts to reach you well in advance, and the cancellation was processed only after receiving no answer. What an amazing day we had. And along the drive Paolo enlightened us with history and knowledge of the grape growing and vineyards of Bordeaux. We had three tasting and visited two Chateaux’s. As it was harvest time we got to pick and taste a couple of different grapes. This was a highlight for me.
This was an excellent trip. From start to finish . We were picked up in Bordeaux centre and went first to the beautiful village of St Emillion. It is extrenely beautiful and we had our first wine tasting in one of the shops. Very nicely organised, Onto the second venue where we enjoyed a nice lunch and saw the grapes being harvested and pressed. Our third venue was a beautiful chateau that was a perfect end to the trip,. Our guide was Clement and he was feiendly and informative throughout the trip. A group of 8 had a thoroughly brilliant day out , highly recommended.
We highly recommend this tour. We liked everything about it. Our driver and tour operator, Paola, was pleasant, informative and very helpful throughout the journey. The picnic was very scenic and the chateaus we visited were top notch. The van was spacious and secure. Would definitely do it again.
Our tour of the right bank in Bordeaux was led by Paola. We began in the town of St. Emilion which was beautiful and not to be missed. We received an overview of the Bordeaux region from Paola on our drive to St Emilion and further detail from one of the wine estate owners who is also a wine shop proprietor. After we had time to explore the town, we then toured a winery in the region, walking in the vineyard, tasting merlot grapes and seeing the entire vinification process. We enjoyed a tasting and then a wonderful picnic lunch that Paola prepared. Finally we headed to an estate in Pomerol which was magnificent. I felt that our day covered everything I had hoped to experience for the right bank - tremendous knowledge, on tasting of a wide range of wines, time to enjoy the beautiful town of St Emilion, and an up close interaction with the winemakers and their wines, especially in Pomerol. We had a kind and knowledgeable guide, too. Highly recommend!
Paola was amazing; she gave us a wonderful tour of the wineries and shared a lot of interesting history of the region and winemaking. It was a great way to spend the day exploring Saint-Emilion and Pomerol. We highly recommend this tour!
