Simply wonderful!

We had a beautiful tasting experience at Tenuta di Castellaro and we really enjoyed ourselves. The place is simply wonderful, especially at sunset, when you can enjoy a spectacular view of the other Aeolian Islands. The experience began with a pleasant welcome toast, then continued with two more glasses, one of red wine and one of white wine, and concluded with Malvasia. Everything was accompanied by excellent tastings from the bistro kitchen, which perfectly completed the tasting. Guiding us on the tour of the estate was a very good and knowledgeable guy, who told us with passion and clarity the history of the estate, also explaining their way of working, attentive to sustainability and organic production. It was very interesting to see up close the amphorae and barrels used for the production and aging of the wines. We really liked the wines a lot: they were all very good and, in fact, in the end we decided to buy some to take home for our family. An experience that I absolutely recommend, both for the quality of the wines and for the beauty of the place and for the passion with which it is described. Definitely one of the most beautiful experiences we had in Lipari! 🍷🌅

Top experience, beautiful view

Raw material, essential lines, wine and the Mediterranean. Tenuta di Castellaro has a very powerful, almost brutalist aesthetic, which instead of competing with the landscape seems to frame it. Attending a concert here at sunset, with the sun melting into Filicudi on the horizon and a glass in front of you, was one of those very rare moments when adding anything would have simply been too much.

A memorable experience for the colors, the scents, the flavors...and our special guide...Francesca...a small suggestion...the cookies served with the malvasia were really good...to end on a high note we would have gladly had seconds😜
