水上から見ると、カスティージョ・デ・サン・マルコスは記念碑というよりは、静かな歩哨のようだ。 ボートがマタンサス川を滑走しながら、砦は海岸線から低く堅固にそびえ立ち、その青白いコキナの壁は太陽の光を浴びて輝いています。近くで見ると、厚く丸みを帯びた石はその目的を示しています。砕け散るのではなく、大砲の射撃を吸収するために建てられています。 城壁に沿って怠惰に旗が翻り、見張り塔が空を覆う。 この角度からは、砦はより穏やかで、鋭い歴史を和らげる緑青色の水の波紋に映っているように見える。 ペリカンは表面を滑り、そよ風は塩と川の空気を運ぶ。 ボートからカスティージョを眺めると、迫力があり、地道で、岸に根を張り、いつものように静かに川を眺めることができる。
水上からは、遠くから見ても紛れもない白黒の螺旋を描くセントオーガスティン灯台が、空を背景に綺麗にそびえ立つ。 ボートが近くを漂うにつれ、赤レンガのベースは頑丈で落ち着いた感じがし、沼の向こうにしっかりと錨を下ろしている。 頂上の提灯室は太陽の光が捉え、海鳥がぐるぐる回っている間もキラキラと輝いています。 灯台は、監視されながらも歓迎され、オープンウォーターと陸の間の安定したマーカーとして、何世代にもわたって続くように静かに海岸線を導いているように感じます。

We had a blast on the boat tour - very relaxing. Got to learn lots about St Augustine and the area along with lots of interesting historical facts. Highly recommend. Nick and Jan.
Celebrating a birthday on the sunset cruise and had a wonderful time. The crew was friendly, informative and fun. The boat was in great condition as well. Loved seeing dolphins!Would definitely recommend.
We went on a cloudy and cold spring evening. I was underwhelmed at first but ended up having an enjoyable time. We saw lots of dolphins and a partial sunset since it was really cloudy. The crew was really nice and attentive. There were only two other families on board so it was nice that we were able to have most of the boat to ourselves.
Great job by the crew but be careful to go to the correct pier for boarding. Fury has two locations about 1/2 mile apart.
