I cannot recommend this tour enough! I booked this for my 12-year-old, who is the big manga and anime fan in our family. I was initially a little worried that the duration might be too long for him, but I couldn't have been more wrong—he loved every single minute of it. It was incredibly interesting to see how the Japanese cityscape and day-to-day life serve as the foundation for so much manga. The guide did a brilliant job connecting real-world elements—from the style of writing seen around the city to the details of bento boxes—to the stories we see on the page and screen. The JJK part of the tour was a fantastic bonus that really made the experience special. We booked the longer tour, and JJK was what our kid was intially intrested it but he loved it all. Our guide was phenomenal. He arrived perfectly prepared and his English was a 10/10. Beyond the tour itself, he was thoughtful enough to reach out afterward with personalized suggestions for other spots we should check out based on my son’s specific interests. When we return to Japan, we will definitely be booking a private themed tour with them. The level of insight and care provided is top-tier. If you are considering this tour, just do it—it is fantastic!

If you’re into JJK, this might honestly end up being the most fun thing you do in Tokyo. Tokyo already has a ton of exciting stuff, but this hit differently for me. I’m a big Gojo fan, so I really appreciated how flexible the guide was when I said I wanted a little more time at the Gojo-related spots. We also timed the Prison Realm stop well enough that I got a lot of photos without too many people around, which was honestly great. Posting a few here because that part was especially cool. What also stood out was how prepared everything felt. Shibuya and Shinjuku are both basically mazes, but the whole tour moved super smoothly. The guide also brought printed anime scene shots, and holding those up while taking real photos at the actual locations was ridiculously fun. He also shared a Google Maps list for official JJK merch, which was genuinely useful after the tour. And the Shinjuku battle route felt surreal in the best way. Looking at those packed skyscrapers in real life, I honestly still can’t picture how they’re going to animate all that destruction. Can’t wait for Gojo vs. Sukuna.

You can get an incredibly full JJK experience in just two hours. During my trip I did a lot of “Japanese” experiences, and many of them were interesting or even amazing, but as a JJK fan, this was the one I’ll remember most. There’s something so cool about seeing anime and manga blend into the real city. My favorite spots were the place where Gojo was sealed in the Prison Realm and the starting point of the Gojo vs. Sukuna battle. Both felt unreal in the best way. Narta also gave me an original Tokyo guidebook he made himself, and it was honestly so useful. It had all kinds of fun local recommendations, but the ramen list was especially incredible. I tried one shop in Shinjuku and one in Akasaka, and both were among the best ramen I’ve ever had. Absolutely recommended.

My daughter is a huge JJK fan, so I booked this tour for her, and it ended up being such a fun experience for both of us. Seeing so many Shibuya Incident locations in real life was honestly amazing. My daughter even rewatched the arc as soon as we got back to the hotel. She loves Choso, so one of her favorite moments was taking a photo in the same Piercing Blood pose. She was also excited to see the toilet location from the Yuji vs. Choso fight, although she was a little disappointed that she obviously could not go inside the men’s restroom. What I liked most was that we could really feel the actual scale of the battles and how complicated the route through Shibuya is. Shibuya really is like a maze, and there is no way we could have found all of this by ourselves. You might be able to look up some of the spots online, but actually walking through Shibuya and finding them is a completely different experience. Narta guided us through everything so smoothly, which made a huge difference. The Shinjuku Showdown part was also fantastic. It feels completely different from Shibuya, and that made it even more interesting. Narta brought manga volumes so we could follow the Gojo vs. Sukuna battle while looking at the actual pages, which made it even more exciting. We seriously cannot wait for the anime adaptation, and we ended up taking so many photos and videos so we can remember the real locations later. Narta was also incredibly kind to my daughter, and that made the whole experience even more special for her. This was such a memorable part of our Tokyo trip, and I would definitely recommend it to JJK fans.
