Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He was a great driver. We even had time for shopping at the end.

We had a wonderful experience with John who led us on the road to Hana! We are a big family of 7, so having a private car made the journey comfortable and enjoyable. John provided many snacks, drinks, phone chargers and more! He was incredibly knowledgeable of the island’s history and culture. We loved being able to hear stories of Maui alongside seeing amazing landmarks. Thank you John for a wonderful day! We will definitely come back again!

The Half Road to Hana was more than our family of 9 expected. We were in two different vehicles but our guides, Spencer and Luke, provided us with a most memorable experience. Both were very knowledgeable about the surroundings, the history of the area and were always willing to take our questions. Both were humorous and polite young men. While at a waterfall, our son and oldest granddaughter jumped off the waterfall after being guided and instructed ever so carefully as to how to jump safely. Needless to say they were beyond excited about their successful jumps! And the guides jumped as well. All jn all it was the highlight of our trip to Hawaii and thank you to the guides for making it so!

John made our Road to Hana tour unforgettable. His knowledge of the island’s history, culture, legend and agriculture was incredible, and he had an answer for every question we asked. He made the experience feel personal by tailoring the stops to our interests, and it truly felt like we were exploring with a friend rather than being on a tour. He even took the time to learn and pronounce our names correctly, which meant a lot especially since our names are hard to pronounce. On top of that, his recommendations for food and other activities were spot on. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

We are a family of ten that traveled with two marvelous young guides, Spencer and Luke. They were warm, knowledgeable and considerate. We enjoyed their input and humor. I highly recommend this tour and those guides.

This is an amazing tour. Not only we were lucky to have Spenser as our tour guide. He went far and beyond the expectations of the tour. The road is not that curvy and you will enjoy the most unforgettable and breathtaking views. You will have a chance to swim and jump in one of the many waterfalls and enjoy some delicious banana bread. We did the half way tour based on our schedule and it was just perfect!. The private half day tour was perfect for my family. Our guide, Shayne, took us to multiple interesting spots for great photo opportunities. He customized the trip based on our interests (if we had wanted to jump/swim by waterfalls, we could have done that but we preferred to spend our time with more photo stops - and also really appreciated the pick up and drop off at our hotel (Hyatt Regency)). He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and took many family photos for us. The vehicle was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Shayne is the man! We traveled as a family of 6 adults plus an infant in his Tahoe. He customized the tour to what we wanted to see from the road to Hana. Shayne is a wealth of knowledge about all things Hawaii! If you’re wanting to book a shorter (5 hour) but eventful sightseeing tour of the road to Hana, book this one now!!

This was a perfect way to do the road to Hana and lots of local sites. We were a family of 6 including my parents and my 2 sons (11 & 8) and the SUV was very comfortable for all of us. We were on the Pride of America cruise and met John just out of the port area, he sent a text a few days prior with suggestions and our meeting point. John was a great tour guide and has a lot of knowledge about the area, others in our cruise group did a different tour and we learned a lot more on tour than they did! We really saw a lot during the halfway tour and I don’t feel like we missed out on anything. I’m so glad we did the tour and had a confidant driver because those roads are narrow and windy especially for a bunch of Floridians! Taking a dip by the waterfall was definitely a highlight as well as learning about the peridot on the beach! I would highly recommend doing this tour!
