What a wonderful way to experience Split! Ivan was a wealth of knowledge on Split and really went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. You will definitely not go hungry on this tour so come ready to experience some of the best food we have had on this trip. Add in some history and beautiful historic scenery with yummy food and the best guide - best tour ever!!

INES our beautiful tour guide for our first trip to Croatia was extremely nice and so knowledgeable. She knew right where to stand for the best pics. She also knew when to listen to the men singing a capella under a dome, so it sounded so beautiful. We went to the " farmers market " and a GREAT restaurant and had awesome seafood and a tasty dessert. INES is a native Croatian, so she knows everything there is to know. AND she speaks very good English! ( a BIG plus). Thanx Ines!

We had a great tour with Ines. She met us at our hotel to begin our walking good and wine tour. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She toured us around the palace including samplings at the local market before lunch. Lunch was a “seafood pot” with local wine at a quaint restaurant. It was the best seafood pot we have experienced. Dessert followed after a short walk to a local gelato business. Excellent experience that we would highly recommend.

Ivan gave our family a terrific history and food tour of Old Town Split. We appreciated his energy, personality and knowledge. We were able to learn about the history of Croatia and this area but, maybe best of all, had nice conversations about day to day life near Split. Loved Ivan!!

What a perfect introduction to Split. As a couple, we had a private tour with Ivan. I cannot speak highly enough of his knowledge, friendly manner, willingness to answer questions and suggestions for other activities during our stay. His historical, architectural and general knowledge were shared with an easy going manner as he guided us through the Green Market, several levels of the Diocletian Palace, through each of the gates and a number of squares. We walked through the famous shortest street on the way to a lovely antipasto and seafood dinner before wandering through the lanes, in the changing evening light, to finish with gelato. We have been travelling for months through Europe, doing many tours. This was an absolute highlight. Ivan made it an informative, humorous and enjoyable highlight of our time away.

What a great tour! Ivan gave the perfect mix of history, local culture, and food. All the places Ivan took us were delightful, and he provided entertaining, informative commentary—with a side of classic film references—throughout the experience. He also gave us recommendations for further exploration, dining and otherwise, for the rest of our stay. A really easy guy to spend a few hours with! Highly recommended!!

We absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide was amazing - knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. The tastings in the market were fresh and delicious. Lunch was greatly proportioned and out of this world delicious. The country is rich with history, the sites were incredible, and our tour guide along with the amazing food made this an excursion we will never forget!!!!!!!
