Karl our guide was very informative and engaging with our small group, knew everyone by name, I came away better informed of Maltas history and enjoyed the experience.
Unreserved 5 stars! Our guide Karl is just aces!! Rarely do you get such an enthusiastic guide who is so passionate about his tour and resonates with so many different guests! So much so that he gave up another career to pursue this interest. His sense of humor really added to the experience and he could masterfully field questions, comments, and jokes on the fly. I really got the best sense of the Malta's history through this tour, despite it being hotter than two hells. If you really want to understand the history of Malta, don't miss this tour with Karl! Would definitely recommend and even do the tour again, plus the value is excellent!
Great way to appreciate the history of the history of Valletta. Pity why mankind can continue with the traits of the Knights, help others
Really good introduction to a very beautiful historic city.
Our Chris is THE EXPERT GUIDE for anything Valletta and Mdina and Rabat! His knowledge (has been a guide for 25 years!) is exemplary!! Chris guided us through Valletta at a nice even pace and showed us where to buy snacks or have a meal or where toilets were on our travels, where & when to meet in preparation for 1 pm at Upper Barrakka Gardens.
We met Chris by the Triton fountain as instructed. The tour group consisted of 8 people. We then had a most enjoyable 2 and a half hour guided tour. Chris covered all aspects of Malta's colourful history; with interesting anecdotes imparted at every turn. There was a shirt break halfway through for coffee, drinks, ice creams. Highly recommended!
This tour is excellent value for money and is extremely enjoyable. It gave us a background to the history of Malta. Our guide Karl is knowledgeable and interesting to listen to and consideration was given to each individual's age and abilities. The small group experience made this tour more personal. A delightful day out.
Excellent tour around Valletta. Learnt a lot about the Malta's rich history whilst walking around the beautiful streets and building. Our guide Christian kept us all engaged and showed us plenty of great things to see and do while we are here. Highly recommend this tour.
