Make sure you plan your own route and take into consideration that transport to and from airport to sights in London can be 1-1 1/2 hours each way..

We had an amazing time on the four-hour Viator stopover from London Heathrow with European Tours Limited. From the moment we started, everything was perfectly arranged. We had about a 6-hour layover at Heathrow and decided to make the most of it by booking this 4-hour London stopover tour in advance — and it was honestly the best decision! Our driver met us right at the terminal, super friendly and professional, and the V-Class was clean and comfortable. We covered all the must-sees like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge, and even got time for some great photos near St. James’s Park. What made it extra special was that our driver also took us to a few local gems like Neal’s Yard and Leadenhall Market — places we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own. We even stopped for a quick coffee and snack before heading back to the airport right on time. The whole experience felt smooth, safe, and well planned. For anyone with a few hours in London, this tour is absolutely worth it — it turned our layover into one of the best travel memories!

We booked this tour in advance knowing we had a 6-hour stopover, and honestly it was the best decision. Meeting our driver at Heathrow was simple and from there everything felt smooth and easy. The ride was comfortable and relaxing, just what we needed between flights. He took us to all the must-see places like Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben, with plenty of time for photos, and also showed us some fun spots like Camden and Shoreditch that gave us a different vibe of London. The whole plan was managed so well that we never felt rushed, yet we got to see a lot. The best way to enjoy a layover.
