Marvin made such a wonderful first impression of Saint Lucia for my best friend and me. He picked us up from the airport and drove us to our hotel in Soufrière, and from the very beginning, he was warm, funny, and incredibly welcoming. What I appreciated most was that he took the time to make a few optional stops along the way, introducing us to local spots and sharing little pieces of the island’s culture. There was never any pressure to buy anything or spend money. He simply asked if we’d like to stop, and if we said yes, great. If not, we kept moving. That made the experience feel relaxed and authentic. Those stops ended up being one of our favorite parts of arriving because throughout the rest of our trip, we’d pass those same places and think, “We’ve been there!” It made us feel connected to the island from day one. Marvin was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoys sharing his home with visitors.
