Tyler, driver/guide was a wealth of knowledge. We were treated to more than basic information about Oahu, Tyler shared stories about local happenings and history that added to the many stops and the day. Tyler was spot on with lunch choice and the menu choices were all good. The van was comfortable and accommodated our small group well. I highly recommend this tour, you will see the most important/interesting points on Oahu.

Tyler was a great tour guide. Went out of his way to make the entire experience fabulous. I left my sweater on the van. Called Tyler he met up with me the next day to return it. So thoughtful to help return my sweater. Went the extra mile!! Thank you Tyler!

Fabulous. Tyler was special. Informative and entertaining

Tyler was very knowledgeable of the places in Hawaii. He was a safe and courteous driver which made the ride pleasant. We got to see a lot of landmarks around the island. I was disappointed that we didn’t have lunch at the food trucks which I was looking forward to. We instead had lunch at one spot that had about 8 options to select from. The food was good. There were so many places to go to on the trip that at times things felt very rushed. I do like that we had several bathroom break options and the bathrooms were clean and comfortable at each place.

Our guide ,Tyler, was awesome. He knew Hawaii well and shared lots of details with us. He was also pleasant with some humor which made the day a joy.

I have no problem with Viator or their customer service. We have booked many trips with them with no issues. But the 3rd party company they use for this excursion, Daniels Hawaii, I would not recommend especially if you paid for your excursion to see the items on the itenerary. Our tour guide made everyone feel like the stops on our itenerary were just tourist traps, that she knew Hawaii better and there were better places to stop. Problem is, we are tourists! So she had a voting session on what we would do instead. It was a full bus so some people were outnumbered on the vote. Tourists buy the Unforgettable Day on Oahu excursion to do tourist things not just to be driven around Hawaii at break neck speeds so she could get back to our drop-off points faster. Two of the highlights on the itenerary for me (which is why i bought it), was one, the famous food trucks on the north shore. We didn't stop there at all! She said she knew a better place to have lunch and had us order from there. There were very few items on this menu (a fish, a chicken and a vegetarian option). If we had went to the food trucks there would have been a little more diversity in what you could eat. I didn't get to try the most famous garlic shrimp from the food truck that created it. Stop number two that was the most important, was the Dole Plantation. I found out at lunch that another couple on the bus really wanted to go there as well, but they felt they were also voted against. So my husband begged for us to stop there. She said she could give us 5 minutes to get a dole whip and leave. We were supposed to have had at least 20 minutes according to the itenerary. I'm not trying to be a stickler for what the itenerary says. We're on vacation, have fun. But I paid over 200 dollars to physically see certain things. I thought about Ubering back out there even though I had already paid for the bus trip and it was way too expensive. So I was very disappointed in this trip. If there are too many stops on the list for the guide to feasibly do in 6 hours then someone should rewrite this excursion. I won't be recommending Daniel's Hawaii to anyone or tour guide Christine who asked us to tip her 4 times.

Our driver was wonderful and had all kinds of information for us as we went to the different places around the island

It was a fun way to see the island. It was wonderful having the knowledge of someone who has lived here his whole life. Tyler was very knowledgeable.
