We were surprised to have an individual tour guide take us around the temple area. Farand was our guide, and he was very knowledgeable about the different statues as the views that you could get when inside the temple. He contacted us prior to arrival in meeting at the entrance. We weren’t really sure what to expect that he called us and met us and we went into the entrance. The show was good. We got in early to get decent seats. It was very crowded. The staff end up seeing even in the aisles. We went to the 6 o’clock show and I’m glad that we did because we had a great view of the sunset. When we left, it was dark with a lot of monkeys but just a but just a short walk to exit. Overall, we had a great experience and we would book this to tour again.

When I arrived I was pleased to find out I had a personal tour guide. My guide was very knowledgeable and he made the experience seem less! He was able to educate and navigate through the temple at ease. He helped us beat the crowd and get the best seats. Great guide.

Akmal was excellent with communication both before and during the tour. He guided us through Uluwatu Temple, took great photos for us, and helped us secure good seats at the amphitheater since seating is not assigned. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the experience. I highly recommend Akmal to anyone visiting Bali.

Overall the Kecak dance performance was amazing. I was happy because I was approached by a hanoman dancer and asked to take a photo. During the tour I was guided by a fun guide who explained the history of the Uluwatu temple.

Amazing experience! Our guides took us around the temple and along the cliff to get great pictures. Enjoyed seeing the monkeys, fauna, and sunset. We picked the 7 pm show to get more time for sunset and also really enjoyed the show in the dark when the fire was more dramatic. Don’t miss this!

Upon arrival at the temple grounds, our guide immediately helped us understand the traditional rules and provided fascinating cultural context. Although simple, his explanations deepened my appreciation for this sacred place. The view from the west side of the temple was breathtakingly beautiful, especially when the sky turned orange-purple before the Kecak performance began a truly unforgettable moment.
