Beautiful tour to all the major sights with a pretty good German-speaking audio guide in a nice and clean bus. The headphones are very cheap, so it's better to bring your own (wired). Additionally, the breaks are quite short, and if you do both tours, you hear some things twice.
We had a fantastic time on our tour of Bratislava with Sebastian! He was an outstanding guide knowledgeable, friendly, and full of fascinating insights about the city’s history, culture, and everyday life. We especially appreciated how he shared practical tips on getting around and discovering hidden gems beyond the main sights. His passion for Bratislava really came through, and he made the whole experience both fun and informative. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the city! We highly recommend that you book a tour with him!
We enjoyed this tour very much. The commentary was very informative and the drivers were very helpful. The tour was done in 2 parts. Fot first hour you visit the UFO lookout point and drive around Bratislava. You only get 20 minutes at UFO which by the time you reach the look out point via the lift and stairs doesn't give you much time, especially when there are a lot of other tourists heading same way. At 12.30 we went back to lock up point. We then waited 30 minutes for the panoramic tour. We stopped at Bratislava Castle for 20 minutes and a soldiers memorial for 15.
Castle Tour and entry to Bratislava castle, Viator BR-855004622 I arrived at the departure point near the old opera house at Namestie Eugena Suchona 30 minutes early as there were many yellow tour desks and some people with clip boards so I was not sure which was the one for my tour, there were also some Presporacik vehicles. I later started to board a Presporacik and was given some earphones. I understood The Presporacik would drive to the castle through the old town past popular landmarks like upside-down pyramid and more.Once at the castle it was a self-guided tour. I asked how I would get back into town and was laughed at and given a pamphlet. I was not happy at the prospect of being marooned at the castle and not knowing how to get back so I handed the earphones back to the driver. I walked to my hotel in the hope the hotel could telephone the tour operator they offered a later tour but again no way of getting back from the castle. D Walton
