Alex chose the perfect winery stops! He is very knowledgeable of the area and wines. The first winery Tenuta il Quinto was a very personal tour and tasting experience. Our wine hosts were very interactive. We had a wonderful lunch at a nearby restaurant . We then went to a wine shop, Eneoteca Scansanese for wine tasting. They asked many questions about our personal wines and taliored the tasting around us. Alex then has a special surprise for us…. A giant bench overlooking the Tuscan scenery!!! Breathtaking views and then a a bigger surprise he demonstrated how to open up a sparkling wine with a saber…clean perfect cut in one swift move! Plus 2 more special treats. Alex was so professional and knowledgeable plus a great conversationalist. I highly recommend this tour and would give more than five stars if it let me.
This excursion to Tuscany from Rome was by far our favorite thing we did for our anniversary trip. From start to finish, this trip is worth the money. The trip allows for up to 8 people in the van and it ended up being just my husband and I, which was amazing because we took the tour on our anniversary day. So, we had a private wine tasting just for us. The first winery’s stop is AMAZING! Beautiful vineyard, amazing wine making facility and the wine is amazing. I came into this tour thinking that I only like white wines. I left loving red wine from this vineyard and actually shipped an entire case of red wine home for us to enjoy later. The owners of this vineyard put time and thought into building this vineyard and about hosting wine tastings and future events. It’s something special and I hope it keeps its charm as more people learn of this vineyard. The lunch in the small town was very good and the second winery’s stop tasting is in a very nice shoppe around the corner from the lunch spot. The shoppe has an amazing collection of rare wines and the shoppe owner knows his wines. He had an amazing ability to select wines for you to taste based on your feedback after only tasting 1 or 2 wines. If you are a wine connoisseur or just a casual wine drinker (like us), this tour is a must. Alex is a great host and is very thoughtful and attentive to your needs. The only downside to the tour was not having enough down/quiet time in the van. After enjoying wine, you are mellow and just want to unwind and enjoy your warm feelings in silence or have a casual talk with your person about the experience.

This was the highlight of our trip to Italy! We wanted to get out of Rome for a day and this was the best tour! We thought we were going to be with up to 6 other people and we ended up having a private tour to Tuscany! Alex was a fantastic tour guide making the trip fun, informative, and personal. The private tour of the winery was incredible, lunch was delicious, and Alex had a special surprise at the end which felt like a once in a lifetime experience. It was a very special day and worth every penny! Highly recommend this Tuscany day trip if you’re looking for something special to do!

We thought we were going to be with up to 6 other people and it ended up being just my husband and I! We had a private tour to Tuscany. The private tour of Il Quinto Winery was incredible, lunch was delicious, and Alex had a special surprise for us at the end which felt like a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend this tour for a special occasion!

All the credit goes to my wife who book an amazing trip but the tour guide Alex made this trip a phenomenal experience! It began with personalized pickup at our hotel and the conversation to Tuscany was fantastic. Yes all day tour began with the most amazing experience at a winery where we tried so many wonderful wines and the views were breathtaking. Additionally we experienced a lunch many courses and flavors to experience with a view unimaginable. Our next stop was a wine shop in a small town which was lovely but the underground caves was so special with the owner. Then one last surprise stop to take in one of the last stunning views and a celebration finish which I will leave for you to find out. Alex and their team focusing on very small intimate tours and we only had three of us in this particular tour making it extremely personal. This trip was worth every penny and I would recommend and do it again.
This was the most amazing tour ever. The guide Alex was absolutely incredible. Very knowledgeable, go w the flow, kind, and fun. The vineyard was an A+++ the most beautiful place I have ever been to in my entire like. The guide was so knowledgeable and the wine was perfect. A private chef made us the most fresh delicious meal imaginable. We got to sit on the back porch while served flowing wine. Over looking the beautiful tuscan views. This vineyard is just stunning can’t say enough about it. Much to our surprise Alex stopped along the way home at another vineyard. Where he had champagne for us and lemon cello. Was such a fun thoughtful treat. Cannot recommend this tour enough also the perfect amount of time for the tour.
We had a private driver named Alex. Very nice and knowledgeable about our trip. He picked us up at our hotel on time. From there it’s about 1.5 hours to southern Tuscany. We went to a small private vineyard that was out of this world. Amazing wines and the served us like a 5 or 6 course meal. Amazing scenery and lunch. 5 stars for sure. This was the highlight of the trip. After thaf we stopped at a local wine shop to taste more wines, shop, and went into the cellar where they had all the “ good stuff” Last part of the trip was a surprise. I’ll leave it al that. It exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend this tour!!
