We were lucky enough to have German be our tour guide today, as we visited 4 cenotes and turtle beach in Akumal. We had plenty of space in the air conditioned van, and no extra people so we were very comfortable. He was prompt on time, and was ready to pick us up when we were ready to go. German went above and beyond for our group and even sent us some pictures from our turtle beach excursion. Highly recommend the services we were provided today. Thanks German!!!

Absolutely loved the tour! Jesus was amazing and informative!! We felt like they were very knowledgeable and made sure we felt comfortable and safe the entire time.

The private ride to Tulum and all of the history Jesus knew and told us on the 1 hour ride there. The cenotes were amazing! And the snorkeling was so cool! We saw sea turtles!!! Bring go pro, snacks and waters. The guys were nice and stopped at a gas station for us to grab some snacks- didn’t return until 3:00

Everything was absolutely amazing!! Carlos our tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. He made us feel welcome and made every experience fun! We will be doing this again when we come back in the area!!

Tour guide was great (Efren)! Super knowledgeable and you could tell he was passionate about what he was talking about. Learned a lot. Snorkeling would have been great but there was a storm so we had big waves and it poured. However we saw three sea turtles and a sting ray. Location of snorkeling was with a view of Tulum. Beach was covered in rotting seaweed and about 3 feet deep. Made it difficult to get on and off boat. Cenotes we’re gorgeous but location was super crowded. We left our hotel at 7am and didn’t get back until almost 5pm however lunch was not provided. Would have been easy enough to have lunch provided at the cenotes as the location has a few restaurants. We had to ask our driver to stop at a convenience store on our way back to the hotel because we were starving and had missed lunch at the hotel. Overall great experience

Loved Tulum, loved the cenotes. Snorkelling was cancelled due to rough weather but I still really enjoyed the day. Carlos is amazing. He is so kind and friendly and knowledgeable, he really goes the extra mile. And many thanks to Javier for getting us safely and quickly everywhere we needed to go. Actually the cenotes were the highlight of my whole week in Mexico. There are caves as well as open cenotes. I loved the 3m jump into the biggest one!

Carlos is an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guide. Javier(our driver) safely transported us to and from our tours. My daughter and I enjoyed our trip to the Tulum Archaeological Zone and the Cenotes. Due to the wind, our snorkeling tour was cancelled. We did get a little bit extra time at the cenotes, though. Overall, I would use Mayan Rivera Tours again.

Joel was an incredible guide who really knows his history and the area. His love for history and culture shows through to make for a great guide! He also made a special stop for me when I asked him where I could but local honey that I collect (after he showed us some of the native bees) Our group was small and we all became friends by the end of the day. The ruins and everything about the day was the best part of our vacation 😊
