Took my open water cert her with Yohan, perfect teacher with good English felt safe thru the hole course. Nice and welcoming base, all the staff from front desk, restaurant, drivers the hole crew working for you to get as good experience as possible. An incredible 2-day experience in Tulamben. I got my SSI certification there and we were even able to do a great dive on the shipwreck. A big thank you to my instructor Rémi who was simply the best! Very professional, patient, and super cool, he knows how to put you perfectly at ease. The club is serious, safe, and the team is very welcoming. If you go to Bali, go for it with your eyes closed!
We completed our Open Water certification at Dive Concepts, with Johana as our instructor, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. These two days remain, so far, our best travel memory. We chose Dive Concepts because we wanted to be accompanied by a French instructor, and we were lucky to be guided by Johana. Johana is an exceptional instructor: educational, patient, reassuring, and always in a good mood. She even managed to make the theory part fun and exciting! She really takes the time to explain, answer questions, and make us feel confident, which is essential when you are starting out in diving. The sea dives were simply magical. Johana knows the different sites perfectly and helped us discover the seabed, while explaining the species we encountered. Her passion for diving and marine life is contagious. The organization at Dive Concepts is also a real plus: the logistics are very well organized, with transportation to and from the hotel, an on-site restaurant offering both Indonesian and more international dishes, and even accommodations for those who wish to stay on-site. We will never forget these two days. A huge thank you to Dive Concepts and especially to Johana for her kindness, her professionalism, her patience, and her good humor. Thanks to her, we are leaving with a certification, but above all with unforgettable memories. We recommend this diving center with our eyes closed!
I did my Open Water certification in Amed and I had asked to be accompanied by a French-speaking instructor in order to feel as comfortable as possible. And frankly, Johana was extraordinary! Her guidance was of very high quality. Pedagogical, patient, and always kind, she put us in the best conditions to succeed in our certification. The safety exercises in the pool were perfectly explained, which allowed us to approach our first deep dives with a lot of serenity and confidence. Underwater, Johana was also a wonderful guide: she helped us discover the most beautiful fish, turtles, and many other marine treasures. Always attentive to our safety and comfort, she made every dive as reassuring as it was unforgettable. We also laughed a lot together, which made all the moments spent in the water and out of it extremely pleasant! I can only recommend Johana to you, whether you wish to take your training in French or in English. Thanks to her, this certification will remain an exceptional experience that makes you want only one thing: to keep diving again and again!

I had a great experience doing my Open Water course with Dive Concepts Tulamben. The whole course was well organized, safe, and beginner-friendly. My guide/instructor Maja was really good — patient, clear, professional, and made me feel comfortable in the water throughout the course. Very fun as well. Tulamben is also a great place to learn because the dive sites are beautiful and accessible
Did my AOW courses with Maja on 10 of june, so glad to join Dive concept for my advance course. Maja are so patient and professional for teaching and explain everything to me, his explanation and briefing are so clear (bit strict on the courses😁) but for good purpose. Recommended place to take a courses around Tulamben✌️.
