Our 10-year-old son did his Junior Open Water Diver there. We could not have chosen a better diving school in the world. The training by Edi was very high-quality, competent, and more precise than in Germany and the Maldives. Edi took a lot of time for all the exercises and taught the content and exercises with calmness, patience, and fun. We already had close contact with Karen in advance regarding the theoretical exam. This way, our son was able to learn the theory in Germany with the help of videos and exercises in German and take the exam in German. Karen answered every question, no matter how small, immediately. We are very happy and satisfied that we were recommended this absolutely professional diving school. A heartfelt thank you to the great, helpful team, we will be back!!!!!

I finished the Padi open water course in NOV 2025. My instructor was Edi Sumantara. He was very professional, focussed and safe. The whole set up of Bali Diving Academy (BDA) in Pemuteran was very well: tight grip on their processes and good equipment. I was provided with very good training. Therefore I am really happy with this training centre and with my instructor. When I take the advanced course, I plan to come back here.

Great experience overall! Karin, Putu, and Edi were all amazing instructors. The equipment is great and the dive sites are beautiful. Make sure you eat at The Sage while there - great food!

Had an amazing Open Water course. All the crew members are very kind and helpful. The instructers are very professional really take the time for you to practice. On the last day of the dive also went to the Menjangan Island which was insanely beautiful. Saw many turtles and even sharks. Would totally recommend and come back for future dives!!
