Unforgettable memories made from with experienced staff and guides. My partner and I did the 4 day 3 night package and it was worth every penny! The group was just the right size and made the experience feel very personal. Midgard was everything and more than I hoped to experience. The lodging was so clean and staff that was the most kindest. The menu was very thought out and everything was delicious. The special cocktails felt very Icelandic, gin and roses… The guides loved their jobs and it showed with the tours. Each of the 3 guides went above and beyond, were very knowledgeable about each destination through the day. Great spots attract great people and the atmosphere at base camp was so welcoming. From a smooth pick up at KEV to the drop off at the Hotel in downtown Reykjavik.

We had a great tour with Midgard Thorsmork Super Jeep. The vehicle and driver were terrific at negotiating the very challenging terrain. Disco, the driver/guide did a wonderful job in explaining things and leading us on interesting hikes. All in all a great adventure and experience.

Ragnar was a great tour guide. He grew up in the area and knows it well. He was fun to be around. He planned awesome places to see. He has great communication and made our day extra special.

This was such a fabulous experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our guide and the other passengers! There were 12 people on this tour. That was a fine number. We did some wonderful hikes and learned much about Iceland and Thorsmark. Highly recommend this.

We had a Fantastic private super jeep tour on our first day in iceland. The trip was beautiful and our guide Markus was great. The scenery is constantly changing as the river changes course depending on the amount of water melting and coming down from the glaciers. The jeep was comfy despite the rocky terrain and the many river crossings. This is an area seldom seen by most tourists. We had a blast and would highly recommend this tour.

We had a fantastic day with Simion! He took us on several hikes and was very considerate of different fitness abilities. This was truly the highlight of our weeklong trip

Our private Super Jeep tour to Þórsmörk was simply incredible – breathtaking landscapes, exciting river crossings, an amazing panoramic view after a short hike, and a beautiful walk through a hidden canyon ending at a waterfall. But what truly made this day unforgettable was our guide, Alessandro. From the very first moment, the chemistry was perfect. It never felt like being on an organized tour – it honestly felt like spending an amazing day in Iceland with a good friend who happens to know every hidden corner of this incredible place. Alessandro was warm, funny, relaxed, incredibly knowledgeable and attentive to us as a family. He had a wonderful way of making the whole experience feel personal, spontaneous and special. Our 9-year-old son absolutely loved the adventure, which made the day even more memorable for us as parents. We laughed a lot, saw places we will never forget and enjoyed every single minute of the day. A private Super Jeep tour is certainly not inexpensive, but after this experience we can honestly say: it was worth every single krona. These are exactly the moments and memories you travel for. Hands down the highlight of our 15 day Iceland itinerary. Breathtaking views and amazing guide. I would have done all of Midgard’s tours if I had more time. I’d come back just to spend more time in the Highlands. Truly a remarkable place. Our guide, Simeon, was so knowledgeable and personable. Getting to base camp and checking in was a breeze. If you have time after the tour, I highly recommend eating at the restaurant as well. Had a tasty burger and fries!

We had an epic trip in Iceland and this excursion may have been the highlight among highlights. The local guide was excellent. He made some interesting stops on the way to break up the bumpy drive (F-roads are no joke). Each stop was unique, interesting and just the right amount of time. And the main event….an amazing short (but epic) hike up about 1k feet to a 360 view of the valley. The trail was well marked stairs almost straight up but it was worth the burn as the view from the top was truly out of this world. Pacing overall was great. And having a local handle the driving and stops was well worth the money for me and my teenage son. If you have serious mobility issues this may not be worth it but as long as you can make the climb….slow and steady for me with many many stops to catch breath and take in views…it’s truly an unforgettable experience

Thor's Valley is a rugged beautiful place - surreal. We did a private super jeep tour, making three stops for pictures / hikes, plus lunch at a backcountry base camp. Crossing rivers in a super jeep is an experience in and of itself. Our guide, Carlos, was excellent - informative, friendly, a self-described "open book", we learned a ton about not just Thor's Valley, but Iceland in general. We spent 2 1/2 weeks in Iceland and this was our favorite day. Highly recommend.
