Loc was very informative and friendly. Had a good time crawling through various Shinjuku streets and getting all the insights. Can only recommend!

I booked this tour for my family of 4, and unfortunately, the experience, or lack thereof, was extremely disappointing from the start. We were running slightly behind this evening and attempted to contact the guide. I was shocked to discover that there was no courtesy check-in prior to the meetup time. Had the guide sent a simple message to confirm our attendance, (normal practice) we would have had the opportunity to explain our delay. Instead, I sent an email just 20 minutes past the scheduled time asking if we could still meet up with the group. Miyuki, the guide, replied that this wasn't possible, stating that the "tour has already started, and the guide is walking through the dark streets with the other participants. For everyones safety, we do not arrange for guests to join the tour after it has started. " The wording implied that the route was fixed, unsafe, or too difficult to pause as if the guide was already deep in a challenging or risky area. However, we decided to walk the checkpoints ourselves to see if we could catch up and we found no sign of the group whatsoever. The streets were not particularly dark, dangerous, or difficult to navigate. It became clear that the "dark streets" excuse was exaggerated at best, and misleading at worst. The guide simply wasn't accommodating, and the response felt like a scripted refusal rather than a genuine safety or logistical concern. We are extremely disappointed to have wasted £75 on a service we couldn't use, especially when the reason given didn't match reality. Guide unhelpful and we are out £75 . AVOID!

Loc was a great guide, very kind and knowledgeable. We hugely enjoyed the tour, discovered lots of places and things we wouldn’t otherwise have known about. 100% recommend!

Our guide, a Ukranian who has been living in Japan for years, was great! Nice little tour going through the Kabukicho district, and it was nice to go through the other two districts as well.

Very nice tour and a very friendly Loc guide. 2-hour walk and discovery of typical narrow streets. A must-do because it's very nice
