This tour was booked by our group's tour guide and advertised as a "traditional tea ceremony and Maiko meet" so you can imagine that we were completely disappointed by the experience. Reflecting on it, I believe the ones to blame for this tourist trap experience is our tour company Tripstogo. It took the instructor about 5 minutes to explain how to mix the tea and then you are on your way, no traditional tea ceremony, nothing. just a room with plastic tables. Very disappointing experience, we really wanted to experience a real tea ceremony, not this
