Amy was very kind and guided us in making our delicious matcha. Recommended!
Grazie mille per la bella recensione! Siamo felici di sapere che Amy è stata così gentile nel guidarvi e che il vostro matcha vi è sembrato buonissimo. Grazie anche per aver consigliato la nostra esperienza del matcha ad Arashiyama!
Had a great time making matcha ourselves! You start with tea leaves and then manually grind it down, it's really cool! You can have a snack with the tea at the end or pour it over ice cream. Our guide was super nice and gave us some history about matcha and made great conversation. It's near the monkey park as well so | recommend doing this and then visiting the monkeys!
Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed grinding your own tea leaves into matcha and hearing about its history from our guide, along with the great conversation along the way. It's great that you found a favorite way to enjoy it, whether with a snack or over ice cream, and that the monkey park nearby made for a fun addition to your day in Arashiyama.

I drank powdered matcha leaves myself. It was fun to talk with the instructors in an easy way. The matcha is also freshly ground, so it was really good and I'm glad I came.
