We were expecting a private transfer and ended up in an older van with another couple. I texted the driver that we were at the location and he didn’t respond. We waited more than 20 minutes and finally asked him if he was waiting for us. Not very impressed.

Driver was not able to pick us up when we landed. Our flight was delayed and we informed the Viator contact of this delay. The driver was not available via text because he was picking up another client. I tried calling once we had our luggage but he was not available nor could I understand the message it was in another language. 40 min after we arrived he finally picked us up. This is not the service experience we received with other drivers. I spoke to a Viator rep while this was happening and they apologized and told be we would not be charged for this transfer.

Our driver contacted us in advance. He was on time, friendly. Loaded and unloaded our bags. Highly recommend.

Absolutely horrible experience. Booked this private transfer over a month ago for our trip to Sydney for the marathon. No driver waiting for us, called the vendor and was told our reservation was not delivered to them, called viator and they blamed it on an IT error. Had to end up waiting for an Uber. Will probably never book transportation through viator again

Transportation never showed up. When we called they said they had no information regarding our confirmation. When we called aviator they said they needed to call the service company before providing a fefund. 2 days later we received email saying that they would not refund our money with no explanation

They never showed up. I had a confirmation number. I called them and messaged them. They said it wasn't confirmed

Daniel was very friendly, helpful and professional. He drove safely and the van was perfect for 3 couples and lots of luggage. He went above and beyond. Our booking with Go Sydney Shuttle did not go as well. We have been booking with Viator/Trip Advisor for several years and this is a big disappointment. We chatted with customer service at Viator more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled transfer to cancel due to a schedule change and Go Sydney refused to refund our money. However, regarding the cancellation and refund, our policy is usually quite strict as we need to manage our resources and bookings effectively. The taxi fare from Sydney International Airport to Riley St ,Woollomoloo was $95 with GS Signature Taxis.We booked an Uber for our return journey to Sydney International Airport The fare was $36.15 (reduced from $45 .00, due to off peak time). I would use Uber from now on!!
Although I still rate this a 5 star, I have experienced frustration an disappointment on the day of pick up. The drivers of both vehicles were nice and courteous.
