サン・ピエトロ大聖堂を訪れ、優先入場が可能なこのオールアクセスツアーで教皇墓地を見学し、ドームに登りましょう。 早い時間から、昼間の人だかりのないサン・ピエトロ広場が見えます。 ミケランジェロの「ラ・ピエタ」を鑑賞するバシリカを見学し、他のツアーグループでは見逃してしまう教皇墓地を訪れます。 少人数制のため定員は20名です。 ドームの頂上で首都のパノラマを眺めながらツアーを締めくくります。 ウォークス・ツアーズはバチカン美術館との公式チケット契約により、公認ツアーオペレーターとして認定されていることを誇りに思っています。

サン・ピエトロ広場の入り口のすぐ外でガイドと合流し、雑踏を通り過ぎ、ルネサンス時代の壮大なバシリカの優雅さへとまっすぐ向かいます。
次に、ガイドがカトリック世界の中でも最も神聖な場所の一つを定義する壮大さを教えてくれる通り、バシリカそのものを巡る旅の時間です。 ミケランジェロがデザインした空間の中に佇む、ジャン・ロレンツォ・ベルニーニがデザインしたバルダチンの精緻なディテールを鑑賞した後、天国の鍵を手に有名なサン・ピエトロのブロンズ像を訪れます。 ガイドがバチカンの洞窟の地下墓地を珍しく見学するので、バシリカの下でも特別な体験が待っています。 教皇やカトリックの君主、著名人を祀る100以上の墓がある地下聖堂では、約2000年にわたる教会の歴史を振り返ることができます。 ガイドと別れる前に、ドームの最初のテラスまで運んでくれるエレベーターに案内されます。 そこからサン・ピエトロ大聖堂のドームを自分のペースで登ることができます。320段の階段を上ると、ローマの街を眺めることができる最高の眺めの一つにたどり着きます。下の広場からティベル川を渡ってずっと見えます。

Our guide was fantastic. Really knew her history of the place. Be prepared to walk a lot of steps if you walk to the top of the dome. It’s worth it
It is a great tour of St.Peter’s. You get to see it in all its glory, top to bottom, literally. Be aware of the 304 steps to the cupola. Worth it!

We had a fantastic experience and much of that was due to our guide, Rosalina! She was extremely knowledgeable and shared so many interesting details with us…Her English was excellent and she fielded a variety of questions so professionally.
It should have been a bad experience given the horrendous line caused by sites planning, it wasn’t the tour operators fault. Kylie the tour guide gave us a full free history of Rome lecture while we waited. She made the difference and looked after us all. She was the star of the tour!

Excellent tour! Worth every penny. We had a great deal of time in the Cathedral and then we climbed to the roof and the top of the Dome. After the tour, we spent another hour closely examiningg more of the artwork and statuary in the Cathedral. Our guide was excellent
