Our Judo Club did a snowmobile and Ice fishing event with Destination NWT. The attention to detail on the snowmobile operation and safety was great! My youngest son had previously been terrified of riding on a snowmobile and he was begging to rip around the lake by the end of the day! My oldest, who had to be dragged out there, had the time of his lefe driving his own snowmobile. The beautiful ice fishing shacks were ready for fishing and nice and warm upon our arrival. We caught a really nice size white fish. This was a great team bonding experience. Thank you so much Destination NWT for the wonderful day and friendly service!

We had an amazing afternoon snowmobiling and fishing. The hosts were lovely and provided a fun and friendly atmosphere. I only wish the excursion lasted longer!

Fantastic snowmobile tour today with Leon and great trainer and guide. Had so much fun and can not recommend this enough!!! Just do it!

I had an unforgettable time on this snowmobiling tour. For a first-timer, the professional guide was excellent at building my confidence and providing safety instructions. I really appreciated them running the tour despite not having the minimum number of people. The variety of terrain was great: the trails were bumpy but fun, and I liked that I could go at my own pace without feeling rushed. The lake section was smooth, fast, and exciting, allowing us to go up to 35km/h. A perfect, safe adventure for beginners!

It was so much fun, great for beginners. We had never driven a snowmobile but Leon, our guide, was great at explaining everything and it was all so nice and safe. Our driver Ivy was amazing and super nice as well. I think it’s a must if you’ve never done it before. The views are also amazing!

We had brilliant exhilerating ride over frozen lake and beautiful trails. The instruction by Gabe was thouough and detailed whilst light hearted and fun. We all felt very comfortable with our equipment before we mounted up on modern well maintained machines. We woud definately reccomend this activity for all .

It is an amazing experience, the routes are perfectly balanced to enjoy the maximum. I have to make mention of our instructor and guide, the amazing Gabe. He was incredibly kind, proactive, easy to understand, and just the nicest guy ever, really the experience doubled up thanks to him, his energy and guidance, definitely will be back, and i recommend this tour for anyone. Is a must activity in Yellowknife!!
