I live in NWT but I still joined this tour for the experience. Most of tourists are from China, Korea and Japan and Europe. We were in a bus and we hop from 1 spot to three other areas where Northern Lights are visible. The lady guide was very conversant. She took good pictures for us, provided us some snacks and coffee along the way. I enjoyed the entire trip, and the experience was great. Thank you for this great tour.

We had a great experience on the 3-hour Aurora hunting tour by bus. Despite cloudy conditions, our driver (I think Marvin was his name) truly went above and beyond to give us the best chance possible. He drove us to three different lakes in a real chase of the northern lights and we did get to see them! The group was small (only 5 of us in a minivan), which made the experience feel personal and relaxed. He also prepared hot chocolate and brought cookies. What stood out the most was his enthusiasm; he took many photos for us (including of us!), which is really appreciated since taking selfies in near-total darkness is almost impossible. Overall, it felt like a genuine aurora adventure led by someone who truly cared about making the experience special. Highly recommended!

The guide Luke was awesome, our kp was 0.0 but he continuously checked the forecast and ensured that we get a great view of the Aurora. Highly Recommended

Had the best time chasing the Northern Lights in Yellowknife! A huge shoutout to our guide Tina, who was super nice. The pictures she captured of us under the aurora were breathtaking. Highly recommend this tour! 🌌📸

Wilson is the best! He was so kind and very bubbly. You wont feel any intimidation from him regardless how photos you asked. It was not the best Aurora I have seen since it was just for a day with the team as I have booked with another tour company but Wilson made sure everyone was comfortable and pursued more places to get the best view. I saw him after the tour (next day) in a hotel and he remembered me and greeted with a smile. We had a chit-chat while he was waiting for his guests that night. Another day, while me and my friends were outside wandering the city, we saw him again and had a quick talk. That guy was all over Yellowknife day and night 😅. I dont know if he still sleeps. Lol Overall, it was a good time. He was also quick in sharing the photos and they are all high quality.

Prompt pickup and great experience! Wilson was very enthusiastic and informative and took some pictures for us, which we received the same day. Got lucky to see the lights during this tour!

While it was a very cloudy night and we were not fortunate enough to see the northern lights, our tour guide (Wilson) and driver made every effort to keep looking. We felt very safe and even enjoyed some hot chocolate and cookies on the bus.

We had a GREAT experience with the Northern Lights Tour by Yellowknife Vacations. The company was very professional, easy to contact and always replied to emails in a timely manner which was very much appreciated. Our guide, Wilson, was wonderful. He had a lot of information to share about the Auroras and Yellowknife and as others have mentioned very funny. We were lucky to see the Northern Lights on our tour and they were AMAZING! We even saw some dancing. Wilson took some wonderful photos of our group and sent them and other photos he took during the evening to us shortly after dropping us off at our hotel. These photos from Wilson will be a treasured memory of our time in Yellowknife. In addition, Wilson also gave each of us a postcard of the Aurora as a momento of our tour. The hot chocolate and cookies were also very much appreciated on a very cold night. I would highly recommend this tour!

this tour was informative and fun. although at first we stood out on a lake for over an hour waiting for the aurora, they did show up at our second stop and we had a wonderful viewing. Brisa took photos which were very good and she was a good guide.
