We visited the underground passages of the fountain, then we went in front of the fountain. However, we regret not having been able to go to the edge of the fountain. The guide was fantastic.

Nous comprenons votre déception de ne pas avoir pu vous approcher davantage de la fontaine. En effet, cette visite est consacrée au site archéologique de Vicus Caprarius et, comme indiqué sur le bon de réservation, elle ne prévoit pas d'accès au bord de la fontaine. Nous espérons néanmoins que vous avez passé un agréable moment et serons heureux de vous accueillir à nouveau lors d'une prochaine visite.
It wasn’t what we expected. Thought we were going underground to see how the Trevi Fountain worked. The guide was very informative though.

Underground Rome was awesome but was unable to get close to fountain! The tour guide told us we had to get another ticket to get closer to fountain so that was a disappointment.

Unfortunately the tour was less than what we’d hoped for. Our tour guide wasn’t all that enthusiastic which was disappointing given the cool context of the tour. We visited the underground via the museum called Vicus Carparius which is €4 to visit and although would have been self-guided feels like it would have offered more information than what we got. Our 7 year old wasn’t engaged at all which wasn’t a huge expectation but for a tour labeled good for kids it should have been a bit more lively.
