First, I must admit that I’m a nervous passenger, especially when someone else is driving. The Gaia Hotel & Reserve booked my transfers to and from the San Jose Airport with Sama Transfers. The trip was amazing. My driver was Miguel Angel; he was so amazing that I requested him for my return to the airport. He was punctual, professional, friendly and polite. He is an incredible driver; he knows where to stop for clean bathrooms and shopping. I was so relaxed and comfortable on the entire trip. I would highly recommend Sama Transfers and Miguel. I never write reviews so know that this was a very review.

I scheduled this transport the week before and immediately was contacted to confirm exact pick-up location (this can be tricky in Manual Antonio area). Our driver was early and so patient as we loaded everyone and our luggage. When traveling to make a flight home, it's always a little nerve-wracking, but Joshua made it stress-free and we arrived in plenty of time.

Rebecca was sweet on time courteous and an excellent driver! She was waiting for us at the airport when we got in and was waiting at our hotel to take us back

Rebekah took us from Uvita to San Jose airport. It was very punctual and made the journey super enjoyable. She was a good talker, very nice and good driver.

Rebekah, our driver arrived on time, was a very good conversationalist during the journey and was at all times aware that the trip was pleasant. Fully recommended!

Me and my son had an early flight leaving out of San Jose airport. We were traveling from Manuel Antonio so it was about 2 1/2 to 3 hours and my flight was so early that I had to be picked up around 3:30 AM. The driver that I had was on time she was courteous and she was just so sweet! I would highly recommend this company as well as use them again myself when I’m back in Costa Rica!

We had an easy, pleasant, smooth and safe drive with Rebeca in March 2025. She was just wonderful! The car was spacious and clean, Rebeca was kind and thoughtful, and got us to the airport with plenty of time. We even stopped at a nice rest stop with bathrooms, food, and souvenirs. We would definitely book with this company again. It was a stress free and great experience.

Can’t say enough good things about our rides with Sama (San Jose airport to Quepos and back 5 days later). Rebecca, our driver, was personable and took time to teach us both language and culture of her country enroute! Couldn’t have been a better experience, a more skilled driver, or a nicer person!!!!! We used SAMA twice on our trip. On the way to Manuel Antonio our driver was Milo. He was very friendly and drove at a nice relaxing pace. Nice trip with him. On our way back from MA Rebecca was our driver. She was nice but her driving seemed very rushed and not as relaxing. She was only taking us to a hotel in MA so we didn’t need to be in a huge hurry.

Rebeca was our favorite driver of our entire trip! Not only was she an excellent driver, she was such an interesting person to get to know. She was also very patient as we had to make a couple of pit stops. She has >20 years of experience driving taxis and minibuses. Request her!!
