⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing day with Andrés exploring Colonia and visiting the Fripp Winery. Colonia is beautiful and Andrés filled our visit with stories about its history as well as personal stories about growing up there and the local culture. The winery was beautiful, even in winter, and we enjoyed a tour and a fantastic lunch with paired wines. Andrés looked after us the whole day making our tour really personal and fun, it was like being shown around a small part of Uruguay by a good friend. Can’t recommend this tour and Andrés highly enough ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If I could give this tour ten stars, I absolutely would. My mother and I had the pleasure of joining Andrés for the Silex Tours: Wine, History and Culture in Colonia del Sacramento, and it was truly spectacular from beginning to end. Andrés is incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about both the region’s history and its wines. He created such a welcoming atmosphere that it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with a friend who knows everything about Colonia. The balance of history, culture, and wine was perfect. Andrés shared fascinating stories about Colonia while guiding us through beautiful places we would never have discovered on our own. And the wine… my mother summed it up perfectly when she said it was stunning. Every tasting felt thoughtfully chosen and gave us a wonderful introduction to Uruguayan wines.
