Stefano and Tuscan Sunshine Tours is incredible. What a great day! We highly recommend this tour company. Stefano was waiting for us when we disembarked our cruise ship, was super pleasant and knowledgeable, was enjoyable to talk to and spend time with, and provided great insite and helpful information that made our day in Pisa and Lucca memorable and worthwhile. He even gave us suggestions for other cities we were visiting later in our trip and separate of our day with him. We can't wait to tour other places with Tuscan Sunshine Tours and definitely will. Roberto was our guide for the day beginning at 8:30am and curated the most amazing day for our family of 6! In addition to seeing all the normal sights he set up a private wine tour at a family owned vineyard (farm) and it was everything we hoped for and more. I chose this company because it was family owned which usually means each employee is an owner so they are just way better at what they do. He was so knowledgeable and so very kind alllllll day long. We truly had the best tour we have EVER had anywhere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

We loved all of Roberto’s knowledge and passion for the area. He amended the trip to fit our needs and suggested stops to made our trip even more memorable. We will be using him again! Highly recommend!

My family was on the Celebrity Cruise line and forgot to book something for our stop in Livorno - I reached out to Tuscan Sunshine Tours the evening before our day in Tuscany and I cannot tell you just how AMAZING Roberto was in helping us get everything set up! He gave us above and beyond service at the last minute and his driver was so good to us - they were also very flexible and we were able to do everything we wanted to - including a lovely Winery! This day trip was wonderful. Roberto was able to set up an estate tour/wine/olive oil tasting as well that was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. Great communication with Roberto and a wonderful experience we would recommend to anyone.

We thought our tour guide experience from Cannes couldn’t be topped….man were we wrong. Roberto picked us up right at the cruise pier eliminating the need to take a shuttle into Portofino. Friendly and personable from the start, his knowledge of the area coupled with his easy manner set the stage for a thoroughly spectacular day. He led us to Pisa and provided unique insight as to the history in this area of Italy. The highlight of the was the city of Lucca. Roberto pointed out the best places to eat, find excellent gelato, and ways to explore the city walls by bicycle. Roberto made this trip feel very personal, so much so that we want to come back to the area and explore other areas of the country with this gem of a tour guide. Thanks Roberto!!!

Exceptional Private Driver "Roberto" Experience in Tuscany ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible day exploring Tuscany thanks to our wonderful driver who picked us up in Florence at our hotel and created a truly unforgettable experience. From the start, he was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable—not just a driver, but a true local guide. He drove us through the scenic countryside to Montepulciano, where we enjoyed a quiet lunch at a secluded hilltop restaurant with breathtaking views called Il Passagio by Capanna. It felt like a hidden gem only locals would know. Next, we visited a woman-owned winery called Tenuta Le Potazzin where the tasting was both intimate and informative by one of the daughters. The wines were outstanding and the setting—overlooking the vineyards—was picture-perfect. We then continued to Montalcino, another charming Tuscan town known for its Brunello wines. Our driver gave us time to explore and shared insights about the history and culture of the area. He safely returned us to our hotel in Florence and even took the time to point out spots along the way that we should visit on our next trip—his passion for the region really showed. He was delightful throughout the entire day….gave us lots of information and pointed us the right direction when we had free time and showed us a ton of cool things!
